Over the years their sandwiches have been an amazing treat as I travel back home. My favorite thing here is the cinnamon roll! It is made with their bread, rolled out, with lots of cinnamon and sugar and a fantastic sugar glaze. I loved buying them at the end of the day and having one the next morning with a cup of coffee.
I can’t wait to watch my toddler eat his first pig in a blanket from here when we go back for Christmas! They make an amazing pig in a blanket. It used to be a Cavalier (local Huntington) hot dog with a long chunk of cheese (American?) loaded into and baked into their fresh bread.
My favorite sandwich is the Big Loafer with slaw and mustard with a side of extra crispy crinkle fries. The Big Loafer is a slice of their fresh meatloaf baked into their bread. It looks like a giant sandwich. It really is delicious and it truly is a slice of homemade meatloaf in homemade bread.

If you find yourself in Huntington W.V. don’t pass by the mall without stopping at Big Loafer in the food court. This restaurant has its on seating area in the back, and the food is much better than can be expected in a mall. The bread on the sandwiches is baked to perfection. I had the hot ham and cheese with chili fries. I will be back again, and if you are reading this trust me and go get yourself a Big Loafer sandwich.

This is the only thing I miss about working in the mall. Their Italian sandwich made with fresh bread is the best thing to ever happen to my taste buds.

Awesome stuff! the classic meat loaf sandwich (Big Loafer namesake sandwich) is an awesome creation of meatloaf, coleslaw, mustard and I believe ketchup on made from scratch bread. It (at least to me) is the perfect sandwich! Creamy, sweet, salty, tangy… All on the same piece of bread. My mouth is watering thinking about it.

Big Loafer is a MUST if you are at or near the Huntington Mall. The sweet tea is the best — and really sweet but not too sweet. The pig in a blanket and Italian Loaf are mandatory. The bread is what makes every sandwich so you really can’t go wrong and the prices are great.
