A very nice little museum in the middle of a beautiful park. Friendly staff, interesting exhibits. Looked like they are set up for activities for children. Glad I checked it out.

Washington, DC
I went with my family while we were visiting the Long Island Fall Festival. Admission was only $ 6, which was a special price for that day. The museum is pretty small, with work from local artists. In honor of the 10 year anniversary of 911, they had a special collection called New York, New York. It held a lot of different mediums showing daily life in NYC. Very touching.
The visiting collection was called Earth Matters and includes several different artists using different materials, including recycled materials.
This is a kids friendly museum and includes little note cards for children who are doing an art tour. It also has a lot of public events for residents.
