Have been taking our cars to Jim at JDM for 12 years, since we moved to the area.
Would never think of trusting any other mechanics!
Jim is so honest! He gave us an estimate for several items on my daughter’s 10 year old car that I asked him to look at when I had it in there for an oil change. One of the items was $ 400+, we authorized all the work to be done and a few hours later he called back and said this item would actually only be $ 160-​ish, he realized he had misquoted us the wrong part. Believe me, we know nothing about cars and would have never known the difference! That’s a fair and honest businessman! It’s sad to say, but I’m not sure other shops would have been so honest. He literally makes sure my daughter’s older car is as safe as he would make his own daughters, and has told me so.
We have had everything from brakes to tires to axels to 4WD service; to catalytic converters to check engine lights and even electrical problems fixed over the years and have always been satisfied. Everything is warrantied and he replaced a catalytic converter twice for us, no hassle at all, because we kept having problems with it.
Every time we have purchased a used car we always take it to him for a once over and we are never charged, even if we do not have any repairs done to it immediately.
Cannot recommend JDM enough!
PS Jim will never touch a thing that’s going to cost you money without calling you first for the okay, the car is ready when he says it will be ready, and they provide complimentary pick up and drop off service!

I’ve been driving a car for over 40 years. You learn over the years finding a good trustworthy mechanic is very difficult. When you do finally find a solid auto service with fair prices and honest advice, you’ve got gold. Jim at JDM is the one.
If you need something as simple as an oil change or your car needs major help, JDM is where I’d take your car. You’ll appreciate the straight forward advice and good work at more than a fair price.

I’ve been going to JDM for years now. Always able to get any repair done fast. The prices seem okay and the mechanics knowledgeable. I have never had an issue and would recommend JDM for any car repairs you need.

Had some major work done on my older car done here. It’s only been a week, knock on wood everything is still good. Price was fair, in and outin 5 hrs.

Great ACTUAL OIL CHANGES! I had been going to just Walmart/​Jiffy Lube but I noticed my car wasn’t running very well, they hadn’t actually been changing my oil filter like JDM does.
I’ve had my car twoed here twice, mostly because my car is pretty old and it needed a steering column replaced and then a new catalytic converter.
Always very insightful on what is wrong with my car and how much it will cost to get the work done.
I come here whenever I need help!

$ 108 to diagnose the problem. I have heard of charges for estimates. However I have found in most cases those charges are deducted off your bill if you get the work done at the same place. Not here. Too bad.
