Great food great atmosphere. Gets pretty packed on the weekends for dinner

I’ve gone here several times now, and the only successful thing I’ve had to eat here was the bruschetta. Most of the waitstaff is very unfriendly and the overall environment of the place is chaotic.

One for the fabulous bartender! None for the food! Greasy fatty Reuben with ½ the meat it usually has & NO thousand island, just completely drenched in grease! The aMaZiNg John must not be working tonite. Horrible food eXperience. Boo!

We tried Pub 47 soon after they opened as its close to where we live. Since that first time we now average eating there twice a week. They know what they are doing from the hostess when they seat you to the outstanding customer service from ALL the servers. GM Gordon keeps the room well managed, and even the Chef comes out from time to time to get feedback from patrons. The law of averages says we should have had a bad meal or bad service by now, but, that’s not happened. We bring out of town guests here as well as kids, and grandkids and all have enjoyed their eating experience at Pub 47. Menu has a nice selection and the chef does well keeping things fresh vs frozen or prepackaged. Servers keep an eye on you and I’ve never had to ask for a refill. Pub 47 simply does an outstanding job across the board.

Great food! Great service! Great menu! Large portions! We’ve eaten here a half dozen times and it’s always been excellent. Manager and staff truly care about their customers! Prices are reasonable also. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I came in tonight not expecting anything special just meeting some friends. The waitress was incredibly rude. We sat down and waited about 20 minutes then decided to go up to the bar to ask for drinks because we were hungry/​thirsty. Werent irritated or anything just hoped for a drink while we waited. They said since we had a table our waitress should be taking our order and to sit down and wait. Then once we got our drinks (from a waitress that wasnt her) she finally came over and told us we couldn’t sit at the table because we only ordered drinks that we had to go to the bar. Only reason we hadnt ordered food is because she hadnt come to take our order! We had reserved that table with our friends btw. She did not ask nicely she acted as if we were horrible people for thinking we could sit there. So weird. She smacked the bill down on the table and left immediately. I was in shock because we hadn’t done anything to be treated this way we wanted to have a relaxing night with food and drinks. She also gave herself a 10 dollar tip out of our friends bill without asking (they paid in cash) Who does that!!! Overall ridiculous experience. I’ll come back to try again and hopefully try the food next time but i sure as heck wont ask for Kristin to be our waitress.

Food was delicious, atmosphere was warm.
Staff was friendly and Hospitable. Food came out looking beautiful and appetizing. Will definitely come back. We were with another couple, we all got different entrees and all were fabulous! Must try it.

We tried again with better luck this time. The mushroom ravioli was awesome. You can put that sauce on anything and it will taste good. Still issues with getting that second round of drinks.

So my family and I had our first experience at Pub 47. The bar was packed with people however we were sat right away. Our waitress was amazing. Kept asking if we needed anything all night. My one year old had a French fry, gagged, and threw up on the floor. The staff was so helpful and helped clean without hesitation. The owner even came by and asked if we were alright and if we lost anything in the mess. We all laughed and got back to eating.
The food was good. I got the chicken Caesar wrap. It came with a little cup of dressing. Maybe a little bigger cup next time or ask to put dressing on the wrap. Their French fries are FANTASTIC! And if you like Mac n Cheese this place should be your next stop.
We will definitely be coming back here soon. Thanks to the staff for a great night out with my family.

Was nice to go to place that makes «real cocktails» that aren’t overpriced made from mystery containers. I got the chicken cobb that actually had a ton of chicken and the french onion soup also very good! My husband got the clam chowder and fish fry wich he said was excellent! Our second visit was okay but will be back to try the pizza.

Came here the first time with my family. No high chairs available for my girls who are 10 months old. How do you not have enough high chairs for the family portion of this restaurant. Another family with 3 kids came in about 10 minutes later and left because there was no place for them to seat their kids. Huge black mark I would say.
Girls had to eat on our lap… had the tequila chicken sliders… Super dry and bland. Just a dry piece of chicken on a bun with some tortilla chips on top. Servers really seem unorganized and flustered. I am in the service industry myself so I do not think I am out of line with my assessment.
Came back a second time with the family, figured give them a second chance since we live so close. Got a burger and ordered medium, got very well done. Very small portions. For the price ($ 10) I expected more. If you want a great burger go to Tracks in Cary. For $ 10-​$ 13 you can get a massive burger with TONS of flavor.
Only thing this place has going is the restaurant itself which is done beautifully. Hence the 2 stars and not 1. Great spot to watch sports. And my wife loves the patty melt, but unfortunately that’s it. I will not be going back.

For a 2^nd visit, things got better. The service and food was alot better, and the staff was very polite, but when it came to getting the bill, we had to have someone find our waitress. (Probably was there another 10 – 15 min more than we wanted to.) Overall experience, I would tell my friends to go there.

We have been once and I was very impressed. It was busy due to Cubs Playoff. Ordered the chicken wing special. OMG. I have never had larger wings in my life. I am craving them now.
I ordered the grilled veggie wrap. I liked it. I would order it with less mayo next time. Just my personal prefeence. Husband ordered the cajun chicken sandwich special with homemade chips. The sandwich was cooked to perfection and the chips were awesome.
Looking forward to going back.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner. The food was amazing… sirloin skewers with garlic mashed potatoes. Chicken quesadillas… both delicious!!!

Had some friends come into town a few weeks back and decided to give this place a try. I was extremely impressed with the atmostphere. I have drove past the place since it opened a few times. It was surprising considering previous businesses at the location.
I was surprised by the menu and foods. My dish was great, and everyone i was with enjoyed their dinner. Also had a unqiue appetizer which was pretty cool.
Totally different from previous business in the location.

Came on a Sunday for lunch. Bloody Mary’s were good. Build your own. Sort of fun. We ordered the sampler platter and as it sounded good on the menu. When we got it. It was a ton of Home made chips. 2 chicken wings. 2 chicken tenders. The shrimp were small but a lot and Calamari was ok. Sort of Disapointed

Our first visit! Fresh homemade bread with maple butter, to start. Had the slider combo plater: pulled pork, cheese burger and grilled chicken with chicken corn chowder soup as a side. The fries are amazing!
Really great food! Nice menu, great variety, great price. Eric is great server, total win for Huntley!

We came out here ion the recommendation of a friend. I see the bad reviews but wonder what the deal is with those. The location of Pub 47 is off the beaten path in a crappy strip center. Walking in, the entryway is a bit odd and easy to miss. Once inside it has a sharp contemporary interior, a mix of bar & dining room.
Our service was really good and so was the food. My girlfriend got the Penne Pasta. It was good but a bit bland. It was big bowl so she ended up taking some home too. I had a beer and the «3 Pulled Pork Sliders» and they were really good.
So far I’m only one visit here but we’ll be back. It’s 15 mi or so from my house.

I feel like this place is getting such a bad rap! We recently moved to Huntley and on our first weekend in town we checked this place out! Turns out Pub 47 is also new in town. So I will say, when a new place opens up I like to cut it some slack especially in the service department – the servers and cooks and bartenders are still trying to get everything figured out and there might be some hiccups.
On our first visit, we took my parents out for lunch. The owner actually came over to our table to welcome us and tell us the the special drinks they were serving that day. I thought that was a really nice touch and he sold all 4 of us on a drink! The drinks sounded so good when he described them and I really enjoyed my sangria!
We were sitting in the bar area and although it was busy, we had great service there. The menu has A LOT of options. I would actually argue that there are too many options and they should consider cutting back. It does seem like they are just in too many different places at once. I really do like the wraps and sandwiches options though because that is what I am looking for when I go to a pub or bar.
Anyway I ordered the Southwestern wrap and I really loved it. My mom ordered the same thing but felt «meh» about it so I tried hers and figured out they had forgotten the dressing. Oops. Since her wrap was more than half gone we ended up not saying anything about it.
I visited a second time with my husband on a Friday night and this place was busy! I had the French onion soup which was amazing (with a crap load of cheese how can you go wrong) and pulled pork sliders. My husband tried a Whiskey Stone Sour off the drink menu and it was great! We ended up recreating them at home later! Service was great again and this time there was nothing wrong with the food!
I really like the food and the atmosphere at this place. It is honestly a bar where I feel like I could go and hang out and have drinks and not feel out of place.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Friendly and attentive staff across the board. Kaitlyn was fabulous. We order cocktails and decided to try a pizza. Thin crust sausage and mushroom pizza. It was perfect. Chef came out to check on us which showed us how much they care. We will certainly come back
I really need to edit my first review. Not sure why I was so positive the first go around and I learned my lesson.
This place is good only if everything else in the area is full. Food is basic and staff is subpar.
