Visiting Sam Houston State University for a student award ceremony, needed a quick desert place. The sign outside looked somewhat familiar and after walking in, it became immediately clear, we were actually in College Station at Spoons, which we have visited several times with our Aggies. Yep, it was Spoon’s, asked at the counter, same ownership. So we know what we were getting, good frozen yogurt, fresh fruit mix ins and lots of candy and nut choices. The Huntsville 3 Spoons didn’t disappoint, three people got their favorites, chocolate, vanilla and a few exotic flavor choices, with lots of mix ins, it was all good.

Legit froyo, the inmates down the street don’t know what they’re missing! Serve yourself, OU kosher, decent variety of toppings, clean place, friendly staff, convenient access from I-45. Would visit again!

What’s not to like about lots of flavors of no– and low-fat frozen yogurt, dozens of toppings and the freedom to choose as many as you like? Staff seems nice(it’s self-serve, so they just ring you up), and the place is kept clean. Remember, just because you have an empty cup in front of you doesn’t mean you have to fill it up all the way. They charge by weight, which can be expensive if you overdo it, and I’ve discovered that the whole cup is more than one person should probably consume.

–The hours online say«close at 11», definitely showed up 45 minutes before they were«supposed to close» to the doors being locked & the staff that was still inside look up & totally ignore me. Absolutely ridiculous. This is twice this has happened. Either change your hours or stay open until advertised!
