Had high hopes for this place after reading the reviews. Read online that it opens at 9. Sign on the door also says 9 Tues-​Fri. Sat outside waiting for over 15 minutes and still no one showed up to open the store. Great way to lose business before you even gain it!

I left a couple of pairs of shoes here for repair and polish. I thought he said he’d call me when they were ready.
After the promised date he hadn’t called, so I stopped in. He found my shoes quickly. Yes, they were ready, so he handed them to me to inspect. I pointed out a couple of spots he had missed when he shined them, and he fixed that immediately.
While this service may not have been absolute perfection, it was still better than par for a shoe repair place!

Best in the Huntsville/​Madison area. This man is a true artisan! He has done everything from replacing zippers in boots to a complete rebuild of my favorite loafers. Always on time and always at a fair price. I would not consider going anywhere else. We need more service providers like him, thanks.

Needed elastic taken up in a pair of $ 130 sling back pumps that had stretched out after use over time. Needed quick turn around bc I was headed out if town, AJ was very nice and professional and turned my shoes around in 2 days! Shoes were perfect, looked and fit like new! I’ll definitely use him again the future!

Worth the wait! So few people are even aware things can be repaired rather than replaced. My wife’s favorite pair of shoes (wedges? Pumps? I just call ‘em The Black Ones She Likes) needed new soles and a good cleaning. She was about to donate them but I took them to AJ’s and they’re practically as good as new!
