Allstar Barber

I’m away from my home station and normal barber for the next four months. I needed to find a place I could trust since I usually have to get my hair cut every 2 – 3 weeks. Allstar had really great ratings on Unilocal so I decided to check it out. I did a walk-​in and and was seen pretty quickly.
The inside of the shop is clean and pretty modern. Jeramy took care of me and I have to say he is nothing but professional. He cared more about how my hair looked than I did!
Jeramy really cares about the quality of his work from how the hair cut looked to ensuring that his tools were clean and hygienic.
He took his time (but was still efficient) and gave me a great medium fade. He cut the top with scissors per my request and it looked great (I have some wicked colics that some barbers struggle with). I requested skin at the bottom of the fade and he shaved it with a straight razor. He used a hot towel and hot shaving cream. Everything was done just right.
The price is good, too. It cost me $ 15 even with the scissors and razor.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality cut at a good price. I’ll be back soon!

I went in not knowing to expect. I do have a regular barber. I was desperate due to a business trip next week so I tried here. Met my expectations and wife approved of the haircut. Home was happy so all is good.

Ever since my husband and I moved to Alabama, we have been looking for a great place for him to get his hair cut – well, we’ve found it!
The barber took his time to really get a feel for what my husband wanted, and it was clear by his technique and execution that he is really talented, experienced, and cares about the end result (a happy customer) The cut looks amazing, and the price is fantastic; he will be coming back!

Been going to these guys for my haircut for several months now and won’t stop anytime soon.
This is by far the best combination of atmosphere, skilled barbers, and value for your money in HSV.
I have a pretty high maintenance cut and my barber has always nailed my cut everytime.
The basic price is $ 15 for a cut and hot towel + straight razor neck shave.

I work nearby and I popped in for a quick trim. One of the barbers *is* actually willing to cut girl hair and she did a great job, quickly, and at a great price.
Everyone there was super nice as well. What more could you really want?

Enjoyable cut. Nice quiet shop with friendly service. Haircut with a straight razor neck shave for a great price that you cannot find anywhere else in the area. Would recommend to anyone.
Remember to bring cash though, as when I was there they only took checks or cash. Great thing about the shop was that they accept walk-​ins.
