I came to Huntsville to work for four months. The apartment where I am staying referred me to Becky Parsons, a sales rep. She was very vague about my service options and only communicated via email. She sneakily tried to get me to sign a one year contract then raised the price of my service when I reminded her that I was here temporarily. She asked me for personal information via email; social security number. She charged me an activation fee and a setup up fee. And.. Not until I was emailed my welcome packet, did I know that I would be paying a $ 7.00 per month equipment fee. She’s definitely a swindler.

The customer service at AT&T is a joke. Choose them if you want to spend thirty minutes to an hour on hold and being passed around their representatives whenever they screw up or you TV or internet goes out. As far as quality, they don’t offer the speeds on Internet that others do in this area, and it will have problems regularly. The TV has a great choice, but it has problems at least every other month. At some periods it would have problems every week. It goes in spurts. I won’t do business with AT&T again, I will deal with companies that actually care about their customers, and I’ll deal locally if possible.
