Just ordered this food to go from Grub South. Some of the worst food I have ever had. Should have gotten $ 30 worth of food from Krystal’s. It would have been much better. My advice if you are thinking about going here don’t do it. Go to Krystal.

It took 15min or so to cook a burnt dried out burger without any seasoning. The fresh cut fries was bubbly crispy and lack seasoning. Terrible

I am SO happy they re-opened! It’s just as good as it used to be, if not better! Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I suppose. Lots of delicious toppings to choose from & an amazing shake/malt selection. This is definitely one of my favorite burger places in Huntsville– chain restaurant or not.

This throwback is pretty tasty, nothing fancy. If you go when they are busy… the service is awful.

Had dinner last night there. Noticed the olive on top of the burger was not the usual Queen olive. It is now a salad olive. No big deal but I figure they are trying to cut cost. The combo onion rings and fries were supposed to be for a family of 4 or 5. I was glad the grand kids weren’t with us. We would have had to order two orders. The burger was still an above average burger. Service was well above average.

Superb food & service! My husband and I are new to Huntsville and decided to try Cheeburger Cheeburger on Friday, 10÷23÷15, for an early dinner with a Groupon. Everything, from beginning to end, was beyond delightful. Our server, Sarah, was friendly and attentive to our needs. She offered suggestions from the menu when we asked for help in making our decisions. Her recommendations were spot on, and we enjoyed every delicious bite of our meal. My husband ordered the American classic, and I ordered the fan favorite with BBQ sauce and had the kitchen add grilled jalapenos, as suggested by Sarah, since I told her that I like spicy food. Since we couldn’t decide between fries or onion rings, she suggested that we get the combo basket and try both. The chipotle mayo for the onion rings was just perfect. Their ice? Even better than Sonic! The old-timey diner décor was perfect, too. To top it all off, the manager, Zach, went above and beyond to meet(and exceed!) our expectations. When I tried to order a mocha milkshake, I was disappointed to hear that they were out of espresso syrup. To keep this customer happy, Zach brewed a strong batch of coffee, cooled it, and made me a special mocha milkshake with crushed Oreo cookies: a Mudslide. It. Was. FANTASTIC. We will be regular customers here. There are so many options/combinations on the menu, with all burgers made to order and over 1000 milkshake flavors, that we will return again and again. Kudos to a well-run restaurant with exemplary customer service and delicious food.

Our most recent visit was excellent, contrary to what we were expecting. This place has had rumors here and there of closing down but it’s still open and has improved greatly. We requested our burgers come out medium, the lowest temp they can provide, and they were right on point. Everything tasted good, and the way they make onion rings has changed for the better. The burger wasn’t a mess and falling apart, even at a whopping 14 oz of meat. The bread bun was good and soaked up any grease just enough to lock in flavor. My burger, with tons of toppings even was very well constructed and stayed put together the entire time. Paid extra for guacamole and it was good. We had chili cheese fries that were good too, but we honestly just went in wanting a milkshake, which never disappoints. Great prices on everything, the atmosphere is clean, nostalgic and inviting, and the service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. I think we even had a visit or two from the manager, who went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I reiterate, this place has come a long way and I felt a thorough review was important so Huntsvillians who have been disappointed before may change their minds about this business.

The service was Excellent and attentive. I enjoyed my meal and was surprised that I likes the fried pickles. I would suggest the appetizer trio if you’re a first timer like myself. I am also vegetarian and enjoyed the black bean burger(although I could have purchased the same patty from sams Club). It was a great experience. Don’t go there if you’re on a diet. This is true comfort food.

Slowest service ever coupled with two tables of screaming out of control toddlers made this Friday night meal intolerable. Waited 30 minutes for food after being seated immediately. I ordered the special of the night. A zesty garlic burger with a mix basket of onion rings and home cut fries. I made no changes. After waiting, a manager came to my table and apologized. He said that«they messed up my burger and had to re-do it». I’m still wondering why it takes 30 minutes to figure this out! From a food perspective the taste was fine but not at all worth the hassle. When I asked for the bill, the waitress said the manager took care of it. They didn’t charge me. I was surprised. That was the right thing to do. However, I won’t be back.

Retro décor, pricing was decent for serving size but food was nothing to write home about. Burgers were over cooked but the appetizers were good. Waitress got our drink orders wrong, we had to remind her numerous times to bring utensils and condiments.

Excellent ambiance, fun place, terrific burgers. We had a beef and a turkey burger. Awesome, delicious, and wouldn’t change a thing. Great, nostalgic place for the whole family.

We were highly anticipating a good cheeseburger but what we received was terrible customer service and an over cooked burger that was not even edible. Our waitress appeared to write down our order specifically and then had to ask 3 additional times which type of bun we requested and completely forgot to make the shake we ordered. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.

Burgers are pretty good. Best thing about them is that you can customize them a lot more than most burger places. You can add things into the burger like onion rings, fried egg, etc. You can choose type of bun, and how much meat you want. I had a 14 oz burger last time I was there and it was good and very filling. As far as taste goes, it wasn’t as tasty as I would have liked. I think Five Guys tastes better, but I like that I can customize this burger more than I can at Five Guys. I can also get bigger burgers here. The service was good. The wait time was reasonable. I’m definitely planning on going back.

Burger was good. No complaints. I did see a guy in the back grab fries with his bare hands and put in a basket to be served. Kinda expensive for a burger and fries.

We just got up and left this place. We ordered our food and when it was sitting at the window area to be brought to us we watched the waitess eat some of the onion rings. Then turn around and seen that we seen it all then asked the cook for more to replace what she ate. Then on top of that she dropped the burger on the stainless prep table then pick it up bare handed and put it back on the tray. When she came out with the food my wife asked why she did all that and she said it was burnt was why she took it off. When we said we saw her ete it she started back tracking. Then we asked about the burger and she said she would make a new one and turned around and walked off. Then a woman who said she was the manager came to the table asking what was the problem. We told her and then left. DONOTEATATTHISPLACE!!! THEYEATYOURFOOD!!!

Burgers are pre-pressed patties and comparable to a Chili’s or such. Lots of customization options, which makes them a lot of fun. Last trip I had a burger with American cheese, bacon, mayo, pickles, onions and Sriacha. Fries are similar to a 5 Guys — not really my taste. Onion rings are battered, which I don’t care for either. Food was decent and service very good. Nice 50s era décor. Friendly staff. It was a good experience, but nothing that would make me pick them over any other family restaurant.

Staff was friendly, courteous and very efficient. They took time to explain the menu and were very enthusiastic about there job. We ordered fried mushrooms for an appetizer they were tasty(nothing special) For our main course we had the semi-serious 1⁄3 pound burgers with assorted fixings! They were great tasting and cooked perfectly. There is almost an endless amount of ways you can have your burger prepared. Really a must try in my opinion. To add to the endless choices theme we had milkshakes for desert with assorted flavors they were outstanding. A must stop place when your in the mood for a burger!!!

Cheeburger Cheeburger is NOT closed! It is newly reopened and it’s as delicious as ever! I love all the milkshake and burger selections, and I just could not decide what to get. Ended up going with chocolate covered pretzel milkshake and a burger with a bunch of different stuff on it. I was far from disappointed and was full for the rest of the day. I can’t wait to go back to keep trying new variations of both. Milkshakes took a bit to come out, but other than that the whole experience was really great. The whole family(full of picky eaters) was super satisfied.

I had low expectations because I sort of expected a Five Guys kind of style but it rose above. Dag nabbit you just had to be good didn’t ya? I feel so dumb saying Cheeburger Cheeburger and now I’ve gotta say it more often. «Where you going for lunch?» …“Cheeburger Cheeburger”. :-/ I am not a fan of Five Guys but was impressed by the topping selections I saw on the online menu so I bookmarked this place to try. I was at the Dollar Tree getting some disposable birthday greetings and since this is in the same shopping center I dropped in. I was surprised when I walked in that it had more of a Johnny Rockets vibe. Feels like you stepped back in time to the 50s into a classic diner. Want a little southern touch? They serve their drinks in mason jars. Their menu warns you that there will be a wait since everything is made to order. I ordered a burger to-go. She told me 10 min. I watched the one man show in the kitchen through the tiny window, sat at the bar, flipped through a magazine, read through the long list of milk shake options 4x, gazed at the décor, walked over and stood by the windows, watched a large table of men receive their orders all wide eyed and goofy grinned, checked in on Unilocal, and voila my burger was ready! I ordered the Classic burger with pineapple, salsa, and pepper jack cheese. The Classic is the smallest burger they have ¼(5.5 oz) it says on the menu. Does that add up to anyone else? The burgers go up to 1 lb and if you eat that you get your picture taken… Say CHEEE! I seriously expected a McD’s size ¼ lb patty but was surprised that this thing covered nearly the full area of the ~4″ bun and was at least ¾″ thick. That’s ~9.4 cubic inches of angus beef. Now that’s some math that adds up. Yeah the burger would be outstanding if cooked on a grill but for a flat top cooked burger from a chain I give them kudos. You can tell that the meat is fresh and gently hand patted. It was juicy. My Kaiser roll was pretty steamed and smushed by the time I got back to my office. I blame that on the toppings I chose and the steaming hot burger patty. I still thought it was very good though. The salsa tasted pretty similar to what you get at Chili’s or Buffalo Wild Wings… I’m guessing they probably all order from the same place. Their fries look delicious but I opted to go without just in case they really weren’t. You can also get the fries loaded with your choice of toppings from the list. They also have veggie and turkey burgers, sweet potato fries, and wheat buns. Not that I’m saying any of those are actually healthy options. The Classic burger was $ 5.29 + tax. I noticed their fries were a little under $ 3. So you could spend a dime for a burger, fries, drink, and tip eating in. I could see where people would find it unreasonable but I felt the quality of the meat was worth the price. I would suggest calling in a to-go order so you don’t have to wait like I did.
