Best experience I’ve ever had at a free-standing ER… well any ER for that matter. The check in was a breeze, the nurses were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the doctor immediately diagnosed my issue and sent me on my way feeling much better. I much prefer this ER to any others in the area and(hopefully not soon) will be back if ever needed!

Did not have a good experience here. I was not feeling well at all and it was flu season. So, no big surprise what was happening but I was in no shape to tell the wiser. I never go to the hospital and figured I had better go with how bad I felt, so, I headed over to PhysiciansER with my wife. Check-in was fine, they were nice. Nurses were also very friendly and took my blood pressure, temp, and some of my blood. I truly appreciate all they did for me. They also started pumping me full of electrolytes as I was quite dehydrated. With this, the doctor came in and determined that I most certainly had the flu and I thought«no surprise». They should have stopped there but they weren’t done getting my money. I should mention there was something not friendly at all about this doctor. He barely made eye contact, would not fully communicate what was happening, and conversations would last under a minute. The doctor convinced me to get an x-ray to «make sure» I don’t have bronchitis. I didn’t have any symptoms of bronchitis so I felt this was very odd but went ahead with it per his orders. I got the x-ray and LOANDBEHOLD, no bronchitis. The doctor still wasn’t done with me. He then suggested I get a CAT scan and I flat out told him«no». After that point, it was the first time he started making eye contact and seemed to «care.» He told me that if I refuse treatment, they are not liable for anything. At that point I really didn’t care anymore. I still said no and they finally let it go. I got an antibiotic, went home, and felt better, No bronchitis, nothing worse than the flu which went away within a week. The bill was almost $ 2500(with insurance). I can’t imagine how much higher it’d be if I agreed to the CAT scan. I can’t stand people that try and take advantage of others and strongly recommend no one go here.

So full disclosure since they might forget to tell you some important details. Make sure they take your insurance. If they don’t, or they can’t answer, walk away. They conveniently didn’t tell us they didn’t take our insurance. It’s a $ 900 fee to take your temperature, blood pressure and tell the doctor what is wrong. That is with no other services provided. So in case they might not mention these things to you, you’ve been warned.
