I recommend the pie. Almost all of the food here was home made. I ordered the fried chicken, which you could tell was hand dipped. It was, however, bland. I think the grease was old as the chicken came out dry, but it was not over cooked. The waitress recommended the onion rings and my husband liked them. To me, they tasted like my chicken– dry. So I got a bad meal but the burger and pie were good. I am willing to bet if I went on another day the chicken would be outstanding because of the care put into it. The décor is ketchy with 1970s medieval Spaniards, but the diner’s bar is a real throwback and very cool. Therefore I am giving it three stars.
