DJs Pizza

I used to drive past this place and never really knew what it was. Recently, I noticed the parking lot is packed so I had to stop in and check it out. I’m SO glad I did! The food is amazing, they have a great draft beer selection, everyone is always friendly and remembers me and it’s now become a weekly stop for me. It’s the best pizza ever, and I love their sandwiches and salad bar.

First time at DJ.
We had the lunch buffet
Pizza was really good
it is definitely its own style
Not NY or thin crust
The slices I ate had pepperoni and other toppings
all was covered with cheese so they were slightly hidden
Not a bad thing though
The sausage was like a free form bulk not pre bought
Overall it was a very good pizza
Staff was super friendly and attentive
I kind of get that craving for it so it must be good!
Five stars possible except I don’t know what they could change

Pretty amazing. Thin crust style that packs a punch in flavor. Employees have been here forever and you can tell they take pride in their work.

Let me start by saying I have really enjoyed eating here in the past, and I am always a big fan of supporting local establishments. However we will not be supporting this local establishment anymore.
My wife and I ate weekly at DJ’s. One night right before closing we picked up a pizza to go. The mushrooms were so tough that my wife and I couldn’t eat them and we were spitting them out in the box as we ate. We left 2 slices in the box. I figured that we would let them know about the problem the next time we ordered because the restaurant was already closed. Three days later I called and asked to speak to the manager. I explained the situation and how I knew this wasn’t typical of their pizza. As a result, I was initially offered 10% off. I explained that we left more than 10% of the previous pizza in the box not to mention that the pizza that we did eat tasted awful. I was eventually offered $ 5 off my pizza. Then when I picked up the pizza, I was lectured about saving the pizza and box next time it was not right if I wanted a discount. Is it my responsibility to pack around bad pizza and a box full of mushrooms for a few days until I can make it into the restaurant? I found this offensive, because my wife and I were regular customers, and I was being treated as if we were trying to cheat our way to a discount. This will be the last pizza we get there due to the poor customer service.
I welcome a sincere apology from the owners.

Very pleasant restaurant! The staff is friendly (it’s a family-​run business), the restaurant is very clean and nice inside, and the 10″ Hawaiian pizza I ate today was good! They also serve subs, spaghetti and meatballs, and other food. I’ll be back soon to try it! :) They have two TVs inside on either side of the room if you would like to watch a football game or something else. I can’t wait until they start serving beer! One of the owners, Penny, told me that they’re working on getting a license. :)
