2009 X5 4.8i was slowly leaking oil. Century BMW said that oil was leaking from timing case cover, vacuum pump, and alternator bracket gasket. Century BMW quoted me $ 6264.70 for the necessary repairs. A friend told me about Euro Tech and said I should give them a try, so I did. Turns out, the valve cover gaskets & upper timing cover gasket were leaking oil… Not the alternator bracket gasket or the vacuum pump.
During the repair process, I stopped by and checked in. Ken stopped what he was doing and took the time to explain to me what exactly was leaking and exactly what he was replacing. He also took the time to pull up a diagram and show me exactly which parts needed to be replaced. After repairs were completed and parts were replaced, I owed $ 2360.70.
To sum Euro Tech up, they’re really friendly people who charge a fair price for their work. I now have Euro Tech perform all my maintenance.
Edit to add: They’re the best BMW repair shop around, so they stay busy. Save yourself the trouble & schedule an appointment, if possible.
