Only been here a few times with the kid. Nice speciality shop and good concept of trading and selling used games. It really appears the game vendors are trying to squeeze out places like Gamestop with their«In Game» purchases and add-ons. I know the margins are probably pretty slim on those Microsoft point cards.

This Gamestop location is where I do all of my video game shopping. Sadly, my favorite Gamestop CSR has left for a colder climate. I participate in the PowerUp Rewards program so I’m constantly buying used games, beating them, trading them in for different games, and repeating the cycle. IF you are an avid gamer, check out Gamestop. Also, the Pro PowerUp Rewards program includes a year of Game Informer PLUS extra points on used merchandise and trades that can be used towards coupons, online rewards, and epic giveaways. so it’s something to look into. This store’s customer service is pretty good. I don’t have to worry about games not being playable since I own a PS3 and the discs don’t scratch. This location participates in midnight launches of popular games too so check them out. Some people say that it’s a ripoff or waste of money. I know that Wal-Mart and Amazon have game exclusives but all new games are the same price no matter where you shop at($ 59.99 on PS3/360), whereas the used games may be cheaper on Amazon.

So far we’ve had mostly good experiences here. We did buy one game that just plain didn’t work, which is what puts it down so far. The crowds can build quickly, though, so time it right if you want time and space to browse.
