I HATETHISPLACE! DONOTMOVEHERE! The people are rude and all they care about is money. Your electric bill isn’t even a true bill. They make up numbers each month. My roommate and I are never home and the bill goes up at least $ 10 a month. It’s to the point that our electricity bill is more expensive then the two story home with three people that my roommates family lives in. We have gotten to the point of not turning the air conditioner on ATALL to save money, yet our bill still goes up every month. I AMTRYINGTOSAVEYOUHERE! This place is awful. Even for a first year apartment. Because it’s so close to the prison the water constantly smells bad when you shower and it makes your body smell. If something breaks it takes maintenance MONTHS to come and fix it, if they ever even come and fix it. Not only that, my roommate and I turned in our paperwork at the exact same time, but somehow mine went«missing». So now I pay $ 50 more a month then my roommate, along with $ 9 extra for my insurance. I promise you this is the worst place for anyone to live. You’re paying for a gated community and the gates do not work, they’re constantly wide open. Glad I’m paying extra for gates that don’t work. When the prison sets bonfires to get rid of stuff and burn wood they do it right by the apartment so they whole apartment will smell like a bonfire is right inside your living room. For as much as I am paying this place is AWFUL. Absolutely horrible. Never ever living here again!

This place was great – on the tour. Once I moved in, it was a completely different story. Walls are paper thin. I can hear my neighbor’s phone conversations. There’s often loud music somewhere – did I mention it backs up to a trailer park? Bass loud enough to shake your floor. Even if it’s the residents, none of the policies are enforced. Don’t mean to be a buzzkill, guys, but some of us actually have classes and homework to do. Only one giant trash bin. If you’re close to it, like me, it’s not a problem, but some people have to cross the complex to throw away their garbage. And because of this, it’s mostly a nasty mess around the compactor. Dog crap everywhere. Parking lot is small and I’ve almost often hit turning blind corners by people speeding because they took out all the speed bumps. Kitchen in the two bedroom is a joke. Zero counter space and plan on buying some extra storage. Closets and bathrooms are big and furnished, but I did end up buying a bookshelf. If you aren’t a nursing major and sell your books back, it probably won’t be a problem for you. Buy a desk chair though! The furnished chairs are hugely uncomfortable. Management is nice and everyone who works there, lives there. However, track your packages because sometimes they don’t call you like they’re supposed to when they come in. I’d stay longer, but I’m leaving when my lease is up because they don’t offer 6-month leases. And I’d only stay because moving is a PITA. Looking back, I would pick somewhere else to live, especially if your major requires lots of studying and you prefer to do it where you live.
