Lily Flagg Furniture

After looking throught their facebook page (later learn it’s extremely outdated), I was excited going in the store because I saw a handful of things I like to see in person and possibly buy. It was disappointed because they don’t carry nearly as much as they have pictures on. I understand things are sold and pictures can be outdated, but they should really take down the ones that are either discounted or already sold months ago. They have big selections of lazy chairs and sofas, some entertainment set, but very little of dinning room tables (which is what I was looking for).
I saw a set (table, 6 chairs + armor/​china display set thingmajiger). I only wanted table and chairs so I asked a worker, who said he has to ask the owner/​manager. Although the worker was very nice and polite, the owner/​manager was a prick! He didn’t even bother to come to talk to us and made the worker (who was older gentleman) walk across the big place to him. The owner/​manager looked at us with disgusted expression… maybe it was the way we dressed? It was a hot afternoon, so I was in my short and tshirt with flipflop… that’s beside the point!
Anyways, it turns out he wouldn’t see just the table & chairs because it might be harder for them to sell just the armor/​china display later. What the… to me, that’s a stupid and lame excuse. But what do I know about furniture selling… Ticked me off the most is that he didn’t even offer some sort of compressing or even to say, we can see if their manufacturing company will sell just the table and chairs …
Nevertheless to say, did not buy anything and will not return to this place…

We just moved to Huntsville and made the rounds to all the furniture stores while trying to fill a new house. We really like Lily Flagg Furniture. Friendly, helpful staff with a good selection and reasonable prices. We’ll be back.
