We stayed at the Madison Motel for five nights in early June 2015. Our clean spacious room had a kitchenette and assigned parking for only $ 65 per night. This roadside 50’s motel on Highway 23 is on the way to Eurcka Springs and about an hour from Crystal Bridges Art Museum in Bentonville. The room itself had a double bed, cable TV and air conditioning. The kitchen had a stove, microwave, medium size refrigerator freezer and dishes for serving food. The bathroom was efficient with a tub-shower, sink, toilet, and clean towels daily. There was plenty of hot water and soap and shampoo were provided. The TV was a 19 inch predigital type but with cable it didn’t matter. My only complaint was there was no blanket on the bed between the top sheet and the bedspread. We had temperatures close to 90 so maybe this is standard during the summer in the south. There was also no Kleenex of any kind and we were only given two guest size soaps for our five night stay. One for the sink and one for the tub. By the fifth night the bar in the tub was barely visible and we had to use the one on the sink. I also wish they removed the kitchen trash daily. The medium size can was full to the brim the morning we left. Would I stay here againi? Yes. I would even pay another $ 10 a night for Klennex, more soap and daily trash removal. Don’t expect the Hilton for the price, but it’s cozy and the owners are friendly.
