Max-Kar Car Wash

This is a pretty typical hand car wash. You’re given a high-​powered hose and a long brush to scrub down your car with.
$ 2 gets you about 2 minutes — which goes very quickly, so plan on what areas you’re going to wash with each tool.
My girlfriend and I managed to clean a midsized car (sedan) for just $ 4 including the wheel cleaner option and the wax option.
The machine only takes quarters, but there’s a change machine (which only accepts $ 1 & $ 5 bills).
After you wash your car you can drive straight in to the vacuum bay.
I doubt this place ever gets very busy because it’s relatively far from the highway, and it doesn’t really stand out when you’re driving down Sycamore Ave (a pretty busy street).
Overall a decent experience with no bells and whistles — what are you expecting? Someone to come out and wash the car for you? ;)
