Excellent food and and excellent service — I get the spicy black bean with chuck sauce and it’s perfect every time. Pita Pit is definitely my favorite place to eat in Huntsville. It’s heathy, they give discounts, and it’s fast — I’ll be back again!

We visited today for lunch. Much the same as my last review, only today the place was filthy. My shoes stuck to the floor. We had to clean our own table just to have a place to sit. Is it too much to run over the tables with a rag every 20 – 30 minutes?
Otherwise, the food was good. I had the Sweet Sammy Salad and it was prepared well. The staff just didn’t really seem to have a clue. I used to go to Pita Pit every week, sometimes several times a week. But today may have been my last visit.

Service used to be great but now i wont even set foot in the door. Staff doesn’t look cleanly nor do they act professional. They dont care about presentation nor the customer. The old staff was great. Avoid at all cost.

we decided to eat here after riding horses all day. it was extremely delicious. the service was absolutely perfect. everyone was friendly and we recommend this place to others.

Have been by this place many times when I was going to school up here and never ate here. I decided to give this place a try when i was in the area. The concept of this place is good and the food is good. I ordered the dagwood and I must say this was a yummy sandwich. I will be back to Pita Pit if ever in the area again. if you are visiting your kids or friends here or live in the area, go in and try the pita pit, the food is great.

Located right next to Papa Johns, its a little bit cramped, but not too bad. Food is usually fresh. Atmosphere… the place feels like a hospital when you walk in. Workers are usually stressed even though the place is usually empty and don’t look like they enjoy their jobs. Service is usually fairly standard — its cafeteria style. Tables and overall sanitation is the saving grace of this restaurant.
Pricing is clearly set up to maximize profit, and not necessarily be a place you can enjoy bringing a large group of people to. They run a non-​stop string of ‘promotions’ aimed at college students, but its about 95% advertising, 5% value.
3 stars for fresh taste and clean disease free eating.

On our way up from Houston to Dallas, we decided to drive into Huntsville to look for something to eat other than McDonald’s or other major fast food chain. The Pita Pit is a nice diversion from the standard fare.
I had the chicken souvlaki pita and really enjoyed it. I wasn’t too full, which made for and good drive. The restaurant is small but there is some outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and willing to make suggestions.
We look forward to stopping by again during our next drive up.

My favorite lunch place around work is Pita Pit. It’s sorta like the Subway of pitas. You pick your meat, they heat it up on the grill, and you choose your cheese/​veggies/​seasonings/​sauces. My favorite it the Chuck Norris, a flavorful combination of chicken, bacon, and several sauces.
They have the perfect proportions, balancing tastiness, portion size, and post-​lunch workability.

This place is OK… its like the subway of pitas but they do cook the meats and sautee veggies for your pita. I haven’t had anything that blew my mind here, plus the price isn’t all that great either.
