I called Stanley Steemer and scheduled an appointment for them to clean the carpets at my disabled brother’s condo in Huntsville, AL. They said they’d be there Friday May 23 between 9 am and 12 am, and would call 30 minutes before arrival. I moved all sorts of furniture out of their way to make it as easy as possible. They never called, never showed up, and claimed I’d never made an appointment. Honestly, now, would I have taken off work, using my VACATION time, to sit at my brother’s townhouse if I hadn’t made an appointment? When I called at 12:30 the service rep claimed«I wasn’t in their computer system.» She offered no apology. Part of the problem seems to be that with SS you speak to a nationwide CSR instead of someone in a local office, even if you call the local #. Never again!
