If it wasn’t for Groupon, I would’ve never guessed this place existed or stumbled upon by accident. So yay for them. It was a nice little ride. The horses were tame and friendly but very hungry lol. They munched on a lot during our trip. The trail was okay. It was through the woods. There wasn’t much to see. There was an overlook mid-way through, looking over 255 I think). Our guide(a lil girl) was a sweetest and littlest thing, BUT wasn’t very informative or instructive. It wasn’t a fault of her really. She was just too young but the cutest thing lol. She was so quiet, barely audible but very lively. It would’ve been nice to learn more about the farm, horses and surrounding. It would’ve been more enjoyable when leaves start to change colors(not their fault) and a more ‘active’ guide(their responsible).

This is a fun little horse farm and boarding stables nestled back in the woods. We found it through Groupon and decided to have a morning horseback riding adventure. Ms. Helen has about 40 horses on 30+ acres of pasture and woods. Her horses are absolutely beautiful, and can accommodate from the most experienced rider to a first timer. This was my first time riding a horse. Ms. Helen and her guide were very patient and showed me everything I needed in order to trail ride safely. Our Groupon was for a one hour trail ride for two. We headed out of the barn and worked our way up the mountain to a really beautiful overlook. Once we were headed back, our guide helped me work up to a trot. It was so fun! Overall, a really great experience. We were even invited back to volunteer! I would definitely recommend this experience!
