I asked for breakfast tea with 2% milk, meaning a cup of tea with some 2% added. After I drove away, I realized they gave me a cup of 2% milk with two tea bags in it. Doh! Friendly enough, but be specific with your order!

The only place in town that can make a half-decent cup of coffee. But it’s just that — half decent. The place is freezing cold and there is never anywhere to sit for studying, working, reading or whatever else you need to do.

Good place to go study since Huntsville doesn’t have many coffee shops. I’ve been here probably 6 or 7 times since August and I’ve had one bad experience when a barista at the drive thru was very rude and also made the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Other than that It’s been great!

Terrible service– only had 1 person in front of me and it has taken 15 minutes to make a drink. 4 of the 6 employees are either talking to each other or their friends that are there to visit them. Coffee wasn’t great but the poor girl behind the bar was the only one making drinks for the inside customers and the drive-through customers. Head somewhere else if your in a rush.

So, this Starbucks is just alright. The drinks are never consistent in taste. Which is sad because this is the only one in town that I can get my free rewards at. The ones that make the best drinks are on campus(there’s two of them, the one in the library is better) and target! The staff at the corporate location is also kinda blah. A hit or miss. The other day I was going to get a drink and I asked if they had an ingredient back in yet and the barista just looked at me like I was an idiot. Gee, thanks a bunch.

Why are the employees here yelling so loud about how«ginger» just quit? I don’t care. Give me my coffee. These Starbucks employees are indescribable. I wish I could meet the proud owner.

Pretty good coffee. You may have to deal with some odd staff to get it though. We went through the drive thru recently and the girl said«hello, I like your outfit» we ignored it and ordered. She then said«I don’t even get a thank you??» We finished the order and then she said the order total. We were pretty wierded out and kind of wanted to just go home… Drink was still good but Wtf…

Starbucks and Peet’s are as common in California as Dairy Queens are in Texas. The opposite is also true. Even along I-5 at Lost Hills, you can catch a Starbucks within an hour. 15 minute spacing is more common elsewhere. Which brings us to I-45 in Texas. Driving south from Dallas, there is a Starbucks in Ennis, then one 140 miles south in Huntsville. It’s not like there’s no traffic on I-45. So the 3 star vote is because although the quality of the offering was fine, the place was too small for its volume, and I had to wait a while in line with a dozen others, possibly all the southbound people who missed the Ennis exit two hours earlier. Hey corporate office, if you do want to dabble in your Texas highway offerings, set up some bigger floor plan locations, so that the travelers can see what you can deliver.

Corporate Starbucks should come on down and see how this one works. Starbucks coffee is what it is– the interwebs is filled with why it is amazing and why it is not(an awful ripoff chain blah blah) OK, both sides have a point. Whatever. This is an excellent version of Starbucks, and when I go here I am NEVER disappointed. The coffee is perfect, the service is genuine. It’s roomy but not cavernous, so you can find a seat.

This Starbucks is the greatest, I’m from Berkeley, CA where Peet’s Coffee reined before Starbucks came along — I still have my Peet’s Coffee card but I am now in Huntsville, TX where Peet’s is nowhere to be found — Hesitantly, I began to visit Starbucks here in Huntsville and I am now at the Green Level, going for the Gold Level — this Starbucks is great! — the staff is very friendly and I look forward to having my morning coffee at Starbucks these days — indeed, I would recommend this Starbucks to meet friends for a nice coffee and atmosphere.

I’m not big on Starbucks in general, but overall this one was nice. The service was friendly, the drink was correct, and the place was chill. Not sure what else people look for in a Starbucks, but this was seems swell.

Stopped at this location on my way to Houston from Dallas. I was highly impressed with the level of customer service I received! Everyone was happy to be at work and they were very friendly, The place was clean and the location is convenient. Right off I-45. My drink tends to be a complex one and they made it to perfection!

Great store and environment! I was traveling from OKC to Houston and this is a very good Starbucks to stop at. The store was a little dirty but heck they were busy so can’t complain to much. Great coffee Great pastries Great service!

Despite a low level objection to Starbucks’ corporate strategies, my selfish desire for a decent coffee shop has made me try this one several times. I have honestly tried to enjoy this place, but I can’t. I expected this location to be like others I have frequented– a pleasant atmosphere with a decent cup of coffee. I expected at least a okay place to sit and drink coffee, but I don’t think anyone meant this to be a coffee shop. It was meant to be a drive through and nothing more. The place is terribly small and crowded with counters and merchandise, so there are only two chairs and a table inside. Outside, right next to the drive though intercom, are several patio tables with a lovely view of the very crowded Kroger’s parking lot. My ideal coffee experience is to sit back, relax, and luxuriate in it, or to hold good conversation as I drink my brew. Try doing either one while idling cars keep pulling up next to you and yelling their coffee order into the squawk box. Although their froo-froo coffee drinks are pretty good(and expensive), whenever I have had their regular filter coffee it has always been very bitter and old tasting. The last time I was in, they served me a piece of cake that was old and dry enough that I gave up half way through. I never turn down sweets. I suppose the place is alright to get something from the drive through, but I like to sit and drink coffee. Since their hours are the same, I now go to the coffee shop inside Hastings further into town. The coffee drinks are cheaper, fresher, and I don’t have to breath in car fumes.

It’s a Starbucks, they are pretty much the same everywhere. This one has a good drive through, it is easy to get to from the highway, and the people serving are usually friendly. I’d prefer a real local coffee house over this… but we don’t have one in Huntsville, so it is what it is! :P

This is one of the better Starbucks I have seen as far as easy access from both the I45 feeder road, Highway 30(also known as 11th street and also known as Veterans Parkway, just to make things nice and confusing)… This location has a large selection of warm food and a drive through, and when we went by Saturday afternoon it was super busy with a line. Took about 20 minutes just to get a latte. Would have gave three stars, my max for a chain, but the under-staffing resulting in a line almost out the door brings it down to 2 stars.
