This was a delightful used bookstore. My husband and I both enjoyed looking through the extensive inventory. It was all well organized. The prices were reasonable as well. They even had comic books. They really had something for everyone.

Without a doubt the best used bookstore in Huntsville. Great selection of books, and a New Arrivals section that almost always has something you can’t live without. Some of the science books are outdated though. Don’t expect the shiny coffee-​table titles in a Barnes & Noble, but any subject, Booklegger’s got it. I’ve killed many an hour in this store and never regretted it.

to be a good used bookstore you have to spend a little a brush up your selections– I tried to sell this guy some quality titles and he acted like I might cheat him– some of these musty old titles have hung out here since the eighties– less rude attitude is needed for this kind of endeavor — an interest in people and books-​used to go here often but now browse amazon et al due to over all skid row atmosphere

For someone who loves to read, it’s a treasure. Friendly, but not pushy, staff. You can trade in your old books for store credit. Again, if you love finding good books, this is the place for you.

Quite possibly the best used book store in Huntsville. I have been frequenting Booklegger for years. While they seldom get any of the really rare Science Fiction books, there is always something new to read. I highly recommend this store. Be sure and check out the «new arrivals», very often there will be a treasure there which hasn’t been grabbed yet. I picked up a hard to find Marion Zimmer Bradley book (which by coincidence is the exact book I went there for) from new arrivals, henceforth (warning; that is a $ 2 word) I will start in that section in the future.
