I live too far to visit as often as I would like– this is a great little shop with awesome things from local people. I can’t get enough of the blackberry-​sage candles.

The Switch House is a great little gift shop tucked in between downtown and 5 Points. They specialize in the local, the recycled, the organic and the very offbeat. They are just across the tracks from the skate park/​dog park and visitors of both parks are welcomed.
You can find a great variety of items by local artists, soap makers, bee keepers, candy makers, and a variety of others. Just do yourself a favor and pop in to check it out!
My most common purchases here are handmade candles (addictive) and Fred Bread (delicious). With daily Fred Bread deliveries, you’ll want to friend them on Facebook so you know when the deliveries arrive and what flavors of bread came in.
