Uncle Bob’s Self Storage

This is for U-​Haul rental from this location (yes, they do U-​Haul in addition to self storage).
I had a 4PM reservation for a truck. I arrived shortly after. I didn’t get waited on until almost 4:30. The one person ahead of me was renting a storage unit, and the person behind the desk thought it more important to give them a walking tour than help me, and the other person behind the desk decided to help the person behind me instead (because that was for a storage unit too).
The truck had no working turn signals and the check engine light was on. I don’t know if anything else was wrong with it. It stumbled a bit while I was driving it, but thankfully it didn’t break down on me. They gave me the truck with half a tank of gas, and I had to guess on how much gas would bring it back to half a tank. I think I gave them about $ 10 – 15 in gas because of this.
Even with all of that, I still would have rated this 3 stars because I did get a truck that got me through.
The kicker is, even though I swept out the truck and folded the moving blankets before dropping it off overnight, they charged me a $ 25 cleaning fee without calling me.
I’ll never rent from that location again, and will probably never use them for any of their other services either.
