I signed a 9 month lease with them and so far I can’t complain. The staff is nice and they always remember me and my apartment number despite dealing with so many tenants. I only had one issue at the beginning of my lease with a few appliance breakdowns and the A/C not cooling enough, but it was all fixed within two weeks, a little long but not terrible. After that everything is nice. The apartments are old and from the seventies so if you live on the bottom floor like I do you have to deal with a lot of squeaky noises coming from upstairs neighbors. The apartments are spacious for the rent. The only downside is the community washer/dryers that you have to walk to and pay 75cents a wash and 50 cents a dry per load… you have to stock up on quarters living here… and definitely make sure you have an ironing board and iron.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 Macon, GA
I stayed here on a year lease. Among the many issues I had with maintenance, the real issues came at the end of my lease. I came to UPA needing a place to stay just moving from Georgia. Upon my initial application, I was told that nothing would be available for at least two months, and anything that came up would have to be renovated, before I moved in. I was offered an apartment a week later, and told that no renovation had been made on the apartment that was available. I said that it would be fine, because I needed a place to stay. The management informed me that since the apartment was not renovated, I would not be held accountable for any more stains to the carpet, as it would be ripped out anyway for the renovation. While in the apartment my a/c went out. I contacted maintenance and after a month of no a/c they finally made the repairs. Two months prior to the end of the lease, I was given notice that I had to be out a month before the lease ended, but was still required to pay for the last month so that they could rent out the apartment, and not lose money. After I left I received a bill for $ 950. They charged me for damages to the carpet along with damages to the new«unmade» renovations. DTI Properties are crooks. Find another apartment complex to call home. The only real positive I have to make about the apartment is that the office staff was friendly.
