Walmart Supercenter

Caution: A LOT of homeless individuals hang out in the parking lot and harass the customers for handouts. I would avoid this Walmart especially during evening hours. It’s not the safest place to shop.
Pharmacy: I have had the same prescription filled there every month for a couple of years now. They have NEVER had enough in stock and I’ve had to wait days for them to order it. My insurance won’t let me refill until the exact day I am scheduled run out. Thus, every month I have to go without my medications for a couple of days until they order additional quantities You would think that after a couple of years of having to order additional quantities each month, they would learn to keep a little more in stock. I eventually gave up altogether and switch to Publix pharmacy and haven’t had any more problems.

Not the best Walmart and not the worst, but it’s definitely two stars. I needed a pair of cheap jeans and simply could not find one in a style that I wanted. Ten minutes of searching poorly stacked stacks of jeans before I found one that I could settle for.
And then, they were mispriced showing up for $ 2 more than they were labeled. Is it really worth the fight?

This Wal-​Mart gets three stars for bad service and incorrect prices marked everywhere. these employees here act like your keeping them from something more important than helping you. I’ve been to some great Wal-Mart’s this isn’t one.

it is a rougher clientele, and the employees are not always great but they have the absolute FRESHEST produce in town– I guess because it is the biggest selling walmart in town so lots of turnover. this is really the only reason we shop here.

This Walmart is either hit or miss when it comes to customer service. There is either a ridiculous wait in the middle of the day, which absolutely kills me, or no lines whatsoever. There are numerous registers with no CSR’s around to take care of customers. There is always something spilled on the floor. I’m always in Walmart for either grocery shopping or to get some household items. The prices are pretty low but they tend to have an OK selection. They seriously need to step up their customer service and cleanliness.

I know this is Walmart. But sometimes a great employee can really change your perspective of a business.
I had bought a car battery here 2−½ years ago with a 3-​year warranty that died on me this weekend. One of the techs at the automotive department tested the battery right away and said it was testing good but needed to be charged. He said to leave it to let him to charge the battery because it could test bad after being charged. Later that afternoon he called me to say the battery tested good. He said it was all charged up and he had cleaned off all the corrosion and applied corrosion preventive on it to prevent any future corrosion. And he didn’t charge me a thing for all his great work.
That day a great Walmart employee brightened my day. Thank you Walmart.

So, I go here mainly to get groceries, but I decided one day that I would like I get a pellet gun for a bit of fun out in the woods. So I made my way down to the sporting goods section and selected a pistol to get but the employee decided to help a different person instead. After the employee was finished dealing with the other customer (who didn’t have anything from the sporting goods section and had a full basket) I came to the register and put my gun on the table and he starts to ring me up. Then a different customer comes up and asks for some special rounds (can’t remember) and asks for his help, and the employee stops what he is doing, doesn’t say a word to me, that’s right, just leaves to help this random person, so I was patient and waited about 5 min for him to get finished. I said forget it, left the item on the counter and preceded to leave, then he comes back and attempts to finish the transaction. I told him he could finish with the other customer and left.

I guess the thought process here is the person with the more expensive item gets the service.

Awful just awful!
Gross, crowed, everyone that works there acts like you owe them something and that they do not want to be there!
The clientele is, well, it is a Wal-​Mart close to the slums of Huntsville. I only go in there when I have to, and I absolutely despise every second of it!
All in all the prices are okay but I’d rather spend a little more money elsewhere than have to be around people who hate there job and *the people of Wal-​Mart*

I don’t know why everyone puts Walmart down so much. They consistently deliver on my expectations for them. I never have a problem with quality, even on their food items. Prices are low as expected and sometimes you have to wait in line. This one is open 24 hours which is always a convenient option when you are travelling.

This place is awful. Always crowded, customer service is poor, and there always seem to be too few registers open in proportion to the number of customers. Plus, a couple of months ago there was a shooting here. I avoid this place unless it’s an absolute necessity.

This is just another reason why Huntsville Walmarts scare me and my wife. I come here for the Cost Cutters to get my hair cut, and occasionally we get some groceries here, but we keep away as often as possible.

This Wal-​Mart is ALWAYS crowded so I really only go when I’m looking for something very specific. They do have much lower prices than most other places, so sometimes I just have to choose Wal-​Mart.
It can be nearly impossible sometimes to get someone to help you. One time I walked directly up to an associate and asked her something. She then turned around and walked the other way. So, yeah, if you don’t know where to find something you may not get much help.
