Capital Meats

I just placed an order with Capital Meats. They came to my house after selling to a neighbor, and asked if I wanted any steaks. They offered to show me some of what they had, and I was impressed. They (Chuck & Erin) made a sweet offer that I was really happy with, so I went ahead placed the order. After they left I made a fat steak and some corn on the cob for dinner, and it was delicious. The food is free from hormones and gluten, and is grassfeed pasture raised. This is the company I will be buying from from now. Thanks guys!

Don’t waste your money on these guys! The food is NOT the quality. The sales people are friendly… So they have that going for them. THe filets are tough, the salmon is freezer burnt, the chicken is gristly. Quality is crap…

This place is absolutely horrible. They have been harrassing me for YEARS! They relentlessly knock on my door and try to get me to buy their overprice food (by the way, it is not natural or organic, those are just hard-​to-​prove gimmick words). One day I opened the door and my front porch was covered in food they had laid out for me to see. They literally pound on the door and ring and ring, even if I have a do not disturb sign on the door!!! One day the guy pointed at me as I was walking to my car and said, «I’m gonna get you one day.» Is that supposed to be charming or something? I called the main office once to ask them to please do not knock on my door again (especially since we are vegetarians, which I have told them a dozen times!) and the girl who answered could not have been less helpful or more rude. I told her how they keep ringing and knocking and her response was that how do they know a hard of hearing person inside (yea, likely) so then I told her they ignore my no soliciting sign and her retort to this was that those are usually for religious people (whatever!). I have been living in this house for 6 years and they come half a dozen times a year. They all look like ex-​cons, too! Not even in any kind of uniform or identifying uniform! They look sloppy, dirty and scary. Now they have started calling my parents every night, late at night close to 9pm and they won’t stop calling, which is illegal since they are on the Do Not Call list. This is a horrible company with absolutely no customer service and terrible business practices.
