No, I didn’t ask for anything free. I didn’t ask for a discount. I didnt even complain to the restaurant. The restaurant was not full or busy, there were plenty of open tables. Your smart ass comments are not nessesary. I wrote a damn review, it’s my opinion of my experience. Just like others have said. Read them all! :)

Just came back from a fantastic Valentine’s Day dinner. As usual(we usually drive from Annapolis, MD once every other month to eat here). We had the Valentine’s Day Special, Lobster Dinners, everything from the rolls, salads, Lobster and sides was great. As always the view is wonderful even in the Winter. As usual the service was exceptional. We had Shannon and she is a wonderful waitress, very personable and makes us feel right at home, even though she was very busy due to the Valentine’s crowd. Love Suicide Bridge and will definitely be back again and again. Can’t wait until the crabs are back in season!

This restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the water. The nautical décor was pleasant and clean and the service was exceptional. We had the seafood buffet on Friday night which was a disappointment. The food was mediocre and included a lot of fried possibly frozen food. It was luke warm. Granted, it is the winter time so I imagine fresh seafood is at a premium, but the breaded fried stuff is just yucky! I am told that if you order off of the menu, the food is a better quality. This place is apparently a favorite with the locals and they have banquet facilities which serve weddings and tour buses. It was peaceful and quiet when we were there. The fresh oyster guy was a nice touch! Overall I would say this place is overpriced for what it is.

I like suicide bridge, and would love to give them a raving review but they are just not consistent enough it’s hit or miss… The wait staff really needs to be careful what they are saying and paying attention to who’s around their language is terrible

Very cool place. The crab cake sandwich was delicious. The surf and turf sandwich was awesome and very filling.

Enjoyed a great lunch here with some family. I tried the Creamy Crab Bisque, and it was rich and delicious; it even had nice chunks of crab meat. I also had the Roast Beef Panini, which is a great sandwich if you aren’t in the mood for their Crab Cake Sandwich. The lunch dining room overlooks the boat docks, which provides an endless change to the scenery! The wait staff was very attentive, and took great care of our table. For kids my niece gave a glowing review of her grilled cheese and french fries, not a crumb left on the plate!

The stunning view was the best thing about the visit. The crabs were over cooked and the service was slow.

Had an event here and they ruined it. They sent out a rotten steak. Twice. You could smell it. Twice. They sent out rottttten meat. One guest just didn’t eat. Whatever to them.

Was pretty disappointed with our visit. Lots of people have raved about this place so we took the hour drive to check it out. We sat outside and it was full of bugs, obviously no fault of the restaurant. The service was pretty slow and the food quality was weak. When we got the bill we were really put off by the prices. Definitely didn’t feel like we got our monies worth. Nice view and a unique place outside the city, but not worth the drive and prices and probably won’t be back.

Steamed Lobster… I have been to this restaurant once last year on Thursday and once this year on Thursday for the lobster special for 21.00…both times in late August. Both times we all ordered steamed lobster, and both times the lobster was so tough that it was almost uneatable. I have never experienced lobster tails tougher than this place and I don’t understand why? Is it that they are overcooked or is it that they are frozen too long? Have no clue, they taste good but we all could hardly chew them.

This place is disappointing. I grew up around here. It used to be amazing. Since then when we visit everything is below standard. Brown under fresh vegetables in salads, fatty chicken wings, dried out crab balls, and most of all they do not know how to cook a steak. We sent back 6 in one sitting until we gave up. The customer service solution was to remove it from bill(never a question in my mind) rather than fixing the problem. The portions are smaller and disappointing. What a shame. Beatiful location. Such potential but no follow through on the most important things… food and customer service.

Great crabs! Great tiki! Favorite dishes are salmon pan seared, broiled rock fish and lobster sautéed. Ask for Ashley as your server.

Stopped by on way to OC. Not too far out of the way and would travel to moon and back for a great crab cake. Suicide Bridge did not disappoint. Although it was April, the crab cake though on the small side was in mid-summer form and can’t wait to visit again.

I love this place. The food is wonderful but it is a bit pricey. Crab balls are amazing!

Suicide Bridge Restaurant has been around for years. The location has not changed much in the last 10. May will find the décor dated but its part of the charm. When you go here, you need to remember that it is a seafood restaurant. The best dishes are the simple ones: Kools Crab Cake, crab imperial, fried shrimp, fried oysters, lobster sauteed, crab soup(cream and Maryland style), crap dip, Prime Rib and fried chicken. I have found when the more complex items don’t have the same quality of the other items. This is place that locals go for a nice dinner or to celebrate. I a lot of tourists also frequent the location and are disappointed when its not like the high end restaurants in their home cities. The restaurant has a great view and is accessible by the water. There is nothing better than spending a day fishing on the Choptank and tying up at Suicide for dinner.

In the middle of what I consider no where, you will find Suicide Bridge Restaurant. Overall the location is fair to below average. The clientele is mainly retirees who may lack an overall palatable ability to enjoy anything less than plain overly-massively processed foods — something which is horrible when it come to seafood. Our family choose here to dine as it was near a second home during a offered Thanksgiving buffet event. The turkey was ok and moist, but it was so nearly impossible to get a good slice of the bird that I truly wished there was an actual carving station. What makes this entire experience more confusing was the fact that there was a carving station set up, but was underutilized by the staff… The other side dishes were fair and really were not poor in quality, but lacked any real defining flavors — everything was mostly bland. What made the experience worse was the additional gratuity unfairly added for the work staff who did not more than run drinks and drop off bread. As a group we would have gladly tipped more, so long as there was more effort put in by our waitress; however, a 15% tip was automatically added regardless of notification or actually earning the tip. Something about a buffet and forced tipping does not clearly make sense, when the server is likely earning time and a half… Overall, 2 stars.

This is not a restaurant you go to for an amazing seafood experience. This is the restaurant where area families having probably been coming for years and years. Most guests I saw were just that, multi-generational families and smaller tables of older folk who remember maybe what it was like in the good old days. The Food: Pedestrian, safe for those who aren’t looking for anything with too much flavor or unusual. My husband ordered the Kool’s crab cake and though it was all lump, he said it could have benefited from a good dose of Old Bay or S&P. My shrimp were probably frozen. Another in our party got the fish fingers which again was probably frozen. The last dish, the clam strips. Need I repeat? Frozen. I didn’t try the appetizer of the seafood potato skins but my husband and our friends enjoyed it. The Décor: Has probably not changed in many, many years but at least they keep the place tidy. There is a «roadside America» giant metal crab just as you walk in the front door that is worth a photo op. The Service: I watched the young hostess work very hard to pull her way too short skirt down while trying to take us to our table. I half expected our server to call us «Hon» every 5 minutes. Though not expecting tuxedoed wait staff, it’s just a little too hometown for my tastes. Parking was not a problem, even for a Sunday but as the lot is also for the riverboat and the marina, I can envision some days/nights being crowded. I personally would not return.
