Pizza House Huron

If you want to be treated like family when you dine, look no further than the Huron Pizza House. It’s my go to kitchen when I don’t feel like cooking.
Everything is top notch, my favs include the steak sub and the hot garlic chicken pizza. Ooh, and I can’t forget the meatball fold over! Delish!
Huron Pizza House is a must eat anytime you are in the Huron area. And their new outdoor dining patio is fab!

Very good pizza. Keep in mind that the large is 16 inches. That’s a lot more than a 14 inch large somwhere else. Crust could have been crisper, but otherwise very good. We had the All Meats, Vegetarian (less the olives, plus banana peppers), Deluxe and a 3-​topping with pepperoni, pineapple and onion. Staff was young and very professional. Restaurant was clean, including our view into the kitchen.

When I’m back in town the only pizza I’ll eat is Pizza House Huron. It’s always been a debate if Pizza House West or East was better but don’t kid yourself. I hate when I get diarrhea from eating crappy pizza from some of the local eateries so I stick to Huron Pizza House. Get it thick crust, pepperoni on top and well done… you can thank me later.

Seriously the best pizza in town. All of my family adores the place. Every time I visit my family, I have to get my pizza fix there. Never have I been disappointed… They have a large selection of specialty pizzas, great subs and a large salad selection as well. For a little place they have a decent sized dining room. My favorites are the cheeseburger fold over, their garlic bread and the calzones. The calzones come out crispy on the outside and cheesy gooey on the inside. The garlic bread comes out in pizza form, thicker crust with oh so much cheese! Just so you know, if you order a pepperoni pizza they put the pepperoni underneath the cheese. I think it adds extra flavor because I’ve never had it that way before and it was deliciously different. But they will also happily put the pepperoni on top at your request.

Back in town to visit, R and I needed some pizza. After twenty-​some-​odd years in the wasteland that is Vermilion I knew good pizza was as mythical as the Lake Erie Monster, so we gave up on V-​town and headed west to Huron. After a little searching we happened upon the Huron Pizza House. A couple pizzas is all that it took to gain us as customers for as long as family decides to live nearby. The people there are always very cool with our sometimes-​odd pizza requests. Good pizza at a fair price in north central Ohio.

I would have to say this is one of the better pizza joints in the area. They have a good crust that has some body to it, but isn’t too chewy. A nice spice to the sauce and a decent amount of cheese.
It’s always clean and friendly and service is more than adequate.
They also serve beer which is different than many pizza places around here.
Overall, a great little place to eat.
