When I came here and ordered a steak medium rare it came out almost raw. The mashed potatoes were also cold which sucked, and of course they didn’t offer a discount or anything like that. So not the worst thing in the world as I have came here other times and the food was fine so I suppose I may have over reacted at the time.

Worst food and worst service in the valley. Sometimes we go just in case it’s better but it never is.

This Applebee’s has gotten better. Approx a year ago, my husband and I went to Applebee’s in the valley and ended up with two terrible meals. Needless to say, my husband refused to go back until a friend invited us out for a meal there. This time the food was really good. I had boneless wings and steak and my husband had chicken fettuccine. Both were excellent. Our friend said he loved their tomato basil soup. We plan to try it again. Hopefully they keep with the excellent food and service.

I think Applebees is caught not knowing if they want to be a bar that serves food or a restaurant that has a bar. The food is ok but the kitchen needs work. The onion rings taste like everything else they fry. It ata st ed like the fryer had not been cleaned in weeks and the oil was probably 2 weeks or older. I went to lunch and the only thing that was good was the salad. The staff is great and seem to care. I bar is a good place to get a great at drink but the beer selection is small. With the recent surge in craft brews they need to expand the beer line and profit from the trend. Overall, I live less th an ½mile from the s location and usually drive 10 miles o r more to get a drink or have a meal.

I remember this place being a decent joint when it first opened. Been nearly five years since I last ate here… Had dinner last night while visiting family and I can’t remember the last time I had such a lousy restaurant experience. Took 10+ minutes after being seated before a waiter stopped by to tell us he’d be with us in just a minute… Five later he took our drink orders… Ordered chicken fingers and garlic bread. Chicken was either over cooked or was cooked it really dirty fryer oil. Garlic bread was actually two bland breadsticks with butter dripping off and grill bits clinging to the bottoms. And though the dining room wasn’t all that busy, the food came to our table in three phases, and mine died in the window long before it ever got to me. Cole slaw came out warmish. Fries were okay. Evening spent in the restroom was unpleasant. Waiters held drinks and food over our one-year-old’s high chair… Had dinner not been on my mother-in-law, waiter would not have been given a proper tip. That said, this will be the last time I eat at Applebee’s.

Terrible service, meal, not going back. We ordered the 2⁄20. I had the Lime Feista Chicken, companion had Chicken Fingers with fries and we had spinach dip. My meal was awful. Not sure what the gloppy sauce was on the chicken, but was overpowering in lime taste. Chicken was on top of tortilla strips and they were soggy. Rice was bland and cold. Spinach dip was tasteless and chips were stale. Companions meal was basic chicken fingers and fries, can’t hardly mess up on that. Just throw in deep fryer and serve.

This place has gone down hill. I remember traveling from Cross Lanes just to eat here when it first opened. Now I cringe at the thought of being invited to eat here. The staff is weird and touchy with my kids, I don’t like that. Hands off. Always something wrong with a big order.
