Excellent! Best Chinese in Southern Utah. Fantastic service, and atmosphere. I recommend it.

Let me say this, plain and simple. This place, is in fact, the BESTCHINESEFOOD I EVERHAD!!! It is not the usual Panda Express type of chinese food, but the Szechuan style Chinese food which is a bit more spicier and a bit sour. My family stopped at this place in route to Zion national park purely by accident. We were just looking to eat some Asian food out there, being tired of sandwiches all day… I honestly went here just to get by. Well, this place surpassed all my expectation and then some! Simply the most juicy and tender meats out there on all their dishes. I tried curry chicken(You must order this if you come here), few different types of beef and shrimp dishes as well. Not only the seasoning on the dishes superb, but they are almost NOFAT — unheard of in Chinese food. Healthy! The meats are so tender and juicy, you have to try it to believe it. They are on a bit of spicy side and a nice sourness to it. Perfect for getting your SOULFOOD in!!! The“Hot and Spicy” soup is also a MUST! It is once again, a bit spicy and sour, but perfect to get your cold and tired body rejuvenated for the next day’s excursion at Zion! Can’t say enough… I am not getting paid for this… It was so good that I went here TWICE in two days and left wanting for more! If you ever go to Zion Canyon, YOUHAVETOTRYTHIS. The prices are pretty much amazing to me. most dishes were under 10 bucks and the amount of food that came out of them were a LOT more than I would think for a 10 dollar dish. Great price as well. I asked the owner why he did not want to open another restaurant at Los Angeles(where all the Asians are!!), and he was not confident that his dishes will be liked at LA. Well, I can say with conviction that he will be a millionair if he comes to LA. The owner is also the cook and boy does he know how to cook a good Chinese food! On the last note, I am a Korean American from Los Angeles and we are finicky eaters. There are thousands of chinese food here in LA and this place was way, way above the normal. A usual panda type of chinese food won’t be eaten for two straight days normally. BUT I DID! what does that tell you about how good this place is? Must try.

I ordered two soups to go this Saturday, 12÷26÷15. It was a cold night and I arrived at 6 pm. The restaurant was in complete disarray. Short staffed and what appeared to be a new waiter, who didn’t know how to manage orders, seat customers, and/or wait tables properly. He was running from table to table and not writing anything down. The owner behind the counter was no help. She was indifferent to what was happening. I sat quietly observing waiting on two soups to go to be delivered. I watched as people got up, frustrated. They had received the wrong order or they only receive half of what they requested. One tall Chinese guy kept getting up from his table, finding the owner in the back, and confronting her. Again, she was indifferent to his plight, telling him they were busy. After about 10 minutes others arrived who had called in orders to go. Those orders should have been ready, but they were not and there they stood for 30 minutes like me. My girlfriend finally and abruptly bitterly complained and it was another 5 minutes before we received the order. While sitting I could see the place is filthy. The carpet hasn’t been cleaned in what appears to be 10 years. Stains everywhere. Dishes stacking up on unclean tables. People couldn’t sit down when they arrived. I could see there were travelers coming in, most headed up to the canyons as I could over hear them talking. They were getting impatient and exasperated as well. Now I’ll rate the food. Zero stars for the Wonton soup. Not edible. Two stars for the hot and sour soup. Owner forgot spoons, napkins, etc. be sure you get these! BADSERVICE, BADMANAGEMENT, COUPLEDWITHBADFOOD. DONOTEATHERE. Pass this place by. You will thank me for it. If I can ZERO this place, consider it done. Believe me, this is no three or five star restaurant. Unilocalers are overly generous with stupid ratings.

Good food. Very typical american chinese. I have eaten there several times. Food is consistent. Like many similar places it’s charm is in lack of atmosphere.

Chilly inside — but with good food and polite waiter :) This restaurant does not have any heating inside, so dining in during winter was challenging. Our food and drink quickly got cold. But other than this, it is perhaps the best Chinese restaurant near Zion National Park. As a Chinese, I would say the food were reasonable, if not authentic.

Overall this place has the hole in the wall feel. The owner was blasting Asian music. Food: average to below in terms of quality. I know this place is in the middle of nowhere but the food was just so so. The broccoli beef was too salty. The walnut chicken was overall pretty good. The prices were decent. Overall, I would not come back unless I am desperate for Chinese food.

Excellent service, went late and food was so good, you get a ton of food too, for very cheap. Was not expecting it to be as good as it was, would definitely go back.

From out of town. Delicious! And large portions– took leftovers back to our hotel room for a late night snack. Recommend the cashew chicken and broccoli beef.

I really wanted to like this place, I really did. The first red flag was when we walked in the door. I had read others say no waiting. No wait? How about zero customers at 12:30! Middle of lunch time. The coke they served was good. I decided to try the special I saw on the door. Like sweet and sour but more pineapple and spicy. My wife had the broccoli beef, her usual. It was to hit in some places and cool in others, telling me it was nuked. The rice was the cheap broken ends and pieces. We had steamed rather than fried because they fry it with ham and we don’t eat swine. The beef tasted fine. The chicken I had was chicken, but had a funny texture, like grisle. It had been two days and I am still sick from the MSG they used. I will not eat there again. The bathrooms were clean and so was the dining area. The waitress barely spoke enough English to help us. Mostly grunts and pointing.

We stay in the town for one night before going to the Zion national park. The food was fine but the service was terrible. They add 18% tip to your credit card without letting you know. I would not suggest anyone to go there if you just came for visit.

The good: friendly staff, no wait, affordable pricing, and good food. The bad: outdated décor and gross bathrooms. I was pleasantly surprised to see that we had to actually wait for our food to be cooked and it was not instant like most Chinese restaurants. We ordered the mapo tofu and sweet and sour pork. Both were pretty good considering this is Utah. The ingredients were fresh and the portion sizes were large. We also had the egg drop and hot and sour soup. Both were a bit watery but with a bit of salt they turned out pretty good too. If it were Houston, I probably would not return but I think it’s pretty good for Utah and would easily return again if I were back in the area.

My GF and I left Zion late at night looking for a place to eat but mostly everything was closed near the park. That, and after a couple of days eating near the park we were sick of the food(and the prices). So we drove to Hurricane(past 10 pm) looking for a restaurant and yep, everything closed. Saw Wendy’s and was about to go there when we saw the Open sign for this restaurant. Door said they close at 9 pm, but we peek in and ask if they are open and the owner, a poor soul with really bad, missing and rotten teeth, said yes that they stay open as long as they have business. The place is a little run down, but acceptable. Sat down and ordered Mongolian beef and sweet and sour shrimp. For the price both plates had excellent meat to vegetable ratios. Anytime I see more meat than veggies I am usually quite happy. We finished, left a nice tip, and I told the rotten teeth owner that this was the best food we’ve had all week and that he should move closer to the park. He said he tried once but rent there is so much that he would have to triple his prices. The owner was a really nice sweet guy, despite his teeth, and the food was good. Will go back again next trip to Zion. Let’s all give this guy more business so he can get some implants!

I had the seafood hot plate. It came out steaming hot. It was very tasty. Would have liked to have had real crab instead of imitation. The rest of the seafood was very good. Would definitely order it again. The young lady serving us was delightful and amusing. She sampled some of the seafood to. I like it when young people try different foods. She was a great sport about it. We joked with her and she was quick to catch on and join in on the banter. It was a good meal out. Décor could use some improving. Looks don’t match the quality of the food. Thankfully we prefer less trendy places.

The food here is good, beyond my expectation. I didn’t expect to have good Chinese food in Utah. We got Mu Chu Gai pan(stir fried chicken with a mushroom in light sauce), Ma Po tofu and stir fried Bok choi. Everything was good!!!

We stopped in after returning fron Bryce, so it was late. We ordered beef fried rice, Mongolian beef and beef with crispy noodles. The beef in all the dishes were fresh and very tender. Plenty of onions in 2 of the entrees. The fried rice was average, but the crispy noodles were not what I expected. They were the packages type and needs no cooking. Overall, about expected considering where we were.

We were spending Christmas at Zion, and we drove in to Hurricane on Christmas Eve for provisions. Since we were already in town, we decided to uphold our tradition of eating Chinese on Christmas Eve. Hello, Hunan City! Maybe it was because it was a holiday, and maybe because we were on vacation, but this restaurant just hit all the right notes with us. We had the large family meal with Lemon Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The food was not mind-blowing by any stretch, but it was a good, solid Chinese meal, and we had no complaints. I’m assuming our server was in training, as she seemed flustered and confused most of the night, but she was so adorable in her flustered state and so friendly that we liked her anyways. This is pretty much on par with any other family-owned Chinese place anywhere else, and we left happy and full.

Amongst all the Chinese style buffets in the area, this place was a breath of fresh air. When I walked in, I was pleasantly greeted by the staff. The menu is pricy for the area, but for the food qualify, I would gladly pay the price. The food is fairly authentic, similar to Chinese food that I order in Chinatown in Los Angeles. The shrimp dishes are plump, juicy, and very flavorful. The vegetable dishes are always fresh. If you’re looking for REAL Chinese food, don’t bother with the local buffets. This is the place to go.
