From Virginia Beach visiting family. This is a hidden gem in the corner of a strip mall. Went for late lunch on Sunday and sat outside. We had pizza and burgers. Both were very good. Huge bonus was the selection of maybe 12WV microbrewery beers. I had Raj from Charleston Brewing. An excellent IPA. Service was outstanding and our server was awesome. We’re here for a week and will definitely go back. Family and friends will also.

My wife picked up carry our on a saturday, when she walked in the staff was disinterested once she got home she opened her wedge salad and it was extremely old and wilted, very disappointed as we had heard so many good things.

The mushrooms were amazing, as was the freaky Greek pizza, which was loaded with olives, sun dried tomatoes, and feta cheese. I can’t wait to return to try some of the other pizzas and the sangria, which looked so good! Nice atmosphere, it’s small but cozy, and family friendly.

My wife and I loved this place, it was a great spot for a date. We ordered the crab cakes and the Gorgonzola pizza. This is a must, we want to go back and check out their brunch!

My significant otter suggested we give this restaurant a try this evening, and a great suggestion it was. We had read some of the reviews beforehand which indicated the space is fairly small so we decided to get there soon after they opened at 4:30. When we arrived there was already a good crowd but we found a table and were soon greeted by our server. They have a nice selection of WV craft beers on tap and we ordered a couple along with the Asiago Bread Dip appetizer. The appetizer arrived soon after our beers and everything was tasty. The menu includes a variety of items but we opted for pizza since it seems like the speciality. The pizzas are sized for one person on naan and we decided to share the Buffalo Mountain(grilled buffalo chicken, gorgonzola and mozzarella topped with celery leaf on a white sauce) and Inigo Montoya(alfredo/horseradish base with steak, horseradish & chive cheese, mozzarella cheese, banana peppers drizzled with A1 sauce). Both were good, though I think there could have been more buffalo sauce on the one and more horseradish on the other. The otter had a Rustic Mountain Apple(apple tart topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce) for dessert. He liked this because it wasn’t too sweet and the flavors combined nicely. Service was attentive and friendly and the space is nicely decorated.

The food and service is great but the place is so small it gets loud. No conversations to be heard.

This place is fantastic. Service was great, atmosphere was casual and the food was delicious! Sat on the outdoor deck area and both my wife and I had a gluten free pizzas. It’s difficult to get a gluten free pizza to work but they did it! Will definitely be back

This is one of my favorite spots. We are starting to know the servers by name. It’s been consistently great food and a fun atmosphere. My favorite pies are the Curry Up and Order Me and Inigo Montoya. Oh and the Freaky Greek(add chicken). The crab-stuffed mushrooms are always great too! Their sangria is delicious too; just order a pitcher ;) My only wish was that the location was larger. It’s not as bad in the warmer months because you can sit outside too.

My family tried out Mountain Pie for our youngest’s 13th birthday. The restaurant is small, the covered patio area is as big as the main dinning room. WVU football game was on so it was loud. The waitress was friendly but made no recommendations. When I asked for sautéed onions they were accommodating. The prices were a little high for the size of the pie. All pies are individual size. The toppings are more on the unusual side but have all the standards. 3 of the 5 prefer Mountain Pie over Pies and Pints. I did not. Not sure if it was the crust or the sauce, but There was something i just didn’t like. Give it a shot, you might just like it.

Good people, good food, good beer and wine. Wish the place was a little bigger and a few more tv’s for sporting events but otherwise I will be a regular. Nice to have a local joint with a laid back atmosphere to hang out at.

Went on a Thursday night and found the place packed. You are supposed to seat yourself, so we had to wander around looking for an empty table and found none. We finally got the attention of an employee who took our name and said he would call out when a table freed up. This left us standing around awkwardly for 10 minutes trying to dodge the server traffic because there is no defined waiting area. When we finally got seated, the table was cramped and beside the doorway so we had other waiting customers standing beside us the whole time we were there. After we sat down it took 10 minutes before a server acknowledged our presence. The noise inside the restaurant was deafening and we could barely hear the server when she asked us questions. The food came quickly enough but was not good at all and way over priced. I liked the naan crust pizza idea, but the toppings were uncreative and low quality. My BBQ pie tasted like canned chicken chunks, velveeta cheese and ketchup. My wife’s Curry pie was just plain bad tasting. She ended up scraping off the toppings and just eating the naan. I had an appetizer of «Roma tomatoes stuffed with goat cheese.» The tomatoes were so under-ripe that I could barely cut them with a fork and the cheese was essentially smeared on top; virtually none of it made it inside. It was criminal to charge for a dish this poorly executed. My wife’s appetizer, Lobster Bisque, was tasteless. The service, after it finally began, was decent and friendly. If you want specialty pizza I highly recommend making the drive to Charleston and go to Lola’s or Pies and Pints. Both are far, far superior to this place.

Well, this is a new restaurant in Teays Valley so I was excited to go. We went early on a Friday expecting a larger crowd if we waited and went later. We walked in and were seated right away. Service was attentive and friendly. I wanted to order something different, so I ordered an Alfredo sauce pizza with spinach and tomatoes. When it arrived, it was smaller than I thought. When I tasted it, I knew this was not the place for me. My pizza was bland and boring. When I finished it, I was still hungry, but my wallet was empty. Pizza too small, prices too high. :(.
