Tried this for the first time and the staff was so friendly, they explained every dish. Food is well worth the price and the pasta even came with a free salad and soup bar!

pizza was not bad, ordered to go. Service was great and friendly. Suggestion would be if someone comes in and has to wait for a pizza to go offer them a water or a soda…

Food is okay. I’d have to say it is the best Italian food in town but that’s because it is the ONLY Italian food in town. If you want pasta you’ll have to wait until after 3:00. The lunch special they advertise is All You Can Eat Pizza and Salad Bar. The problem with that is they only put out 1 pizza at a time. When that is gone you just have to wait so make sure you take more than 1 slice. We have been here for dinner and been pleased with the pasta dishes. The salad bar is pretty good and they have a different soup each day, some good, some not so much.(I would not recommend the corn chowder) Overall I guess this place fills the need since decent eating establishments in this town are few an far between.

The food was delicious! I had the Chicken Marsala and it was much better than i expected. The sauce was delicious, the chicken was really good, and the vegetables tasted fresh. The food is great and the atmosphere is great but they don’t really go together. The name matches the atmosphere perfectly but not the food selection. When I think of prospectors, I don’t really think of Italian food. Also there is a large sign painted in the window that says«Buffet» which is misleading. They only have a buffet for lunch which only includes pizza from what I saw. It’s also awkward having to order fast food style, then sit at a table like a regular restaurant, especially when they ask for a tip before service is even given. It also felt somewhat stressful having a lot of choices and having to decide immediately. That is something that could easily be fixed by ordering at the table, then going to the counter to pay after. Overall I would go back for sure because the food is delicious, though it’s a bit expensive. However, I would highly suggest that the restaurant owners rethink some of the strategy when it comes to ordering and add more«prospector”-like choices to the menu.

Stopped in with my fiancé to use our starving student cards from SUU and get the lunch buffet. We arrived shortly after they opened and were met with great service. They do have a great salad bar selection aaannnddd THEYEVENMADEUS A SPECIALIZEDPIZZANOTONTHEMENU! Definitely an enjoyable experience.

I was hoping for something different, but was somewhat disappointed. Food was ok, not great. Had to laugh when they had a container out asking for tips when it’s really like a a more fast food style.

The food was really good and they were able to get our food to us really fast. The hostess was a little awkward and wasn’t very good at explaining the items on the menu or how the salad bar worked(how many trips, what menu items come with the salad bar etc)

Meatballs alone are worth the trip. The salad bar is gourmet ingredient based and everything is fresh… at least all the times that we’ve been there. The just baked bread on the tables with every table is a nice touch… very generous of them in a world where such old school gestures are fading. The sauce is okay, not amazing. They tend to go very light on it so order extra. I’m a true lasagna snob and made the mistake of ordering it before they even had the decorations on the walls(pre-grand opening) and am convinced it was frozen, very bland and mostly noodles. The fried eggplant was really good, cut long-way and served crispy. They are definitely still figuring it out the food is hot and FRESH and this place is CLEAN. That wins major awards from me. Big, big flaw in service: pay when you come in… so you stand there reading a menu and have to order on the spot(or take it to your table and come back) then they give you a table number and deliver the meal. You will pay about $ 15 for the dinners, slightly more for pizzas. The lunch specials include the salad bar and are cheap… so go for lunch! Try the apple beer soda. :)

The place is new and locally owned(I think) and I hope they make it. The good news: the place is clean, the staff friendly and attentive, and the salad bar is modest, but items were fresh. The bad news: I ordered spaghetti with marinara sauce and my wife had spaghetti with sausage. Both sauces were so salty, we couldn’t eat it. Fluorescent-colored grease oozed from the edge of the sauces. And I’ve never seen orange marinara sauce. My wife complained and was offered an extra trip to the salad bar. I just«forgot about it». We won’t be back.

I had the chicken parmigiana sandwich and it was terrible. The chicken was hard as a rock. Daughter had the chicken Alfredo. She always orders chicken Alfredo where ever we eat so she’s a bit of an expert on what taste good for that dish and she said it was flavorless. It’s fun in a small town like Hurricane to have a new restaurant open. I had high hopes is find a new favorite place. It didn’t happen this time. I won’t be rushing back in but may try the pizza in the future.

Since I stayed at a hotel that was outside of Zion National Park(about 30 minutes away), we decided to check out some of the local restaurants rather than head back into Zion where there’s a bunch of different places to eat. To our surprise, there actually weren’t a lot of restaurants around our hotel, besides the usual fast foods(McDonalds, Taco Bell, Wendy’s), but we were hoping to try something more unique to the area. The local restaurants didn’t have such great reviews, so we checked out this place. Pros: –Good variety of foods(from your healthy salads, to your pizzas, sandwiches, chicken, etc). –Plenty of seating, good for large groups –Friendly staff –Lots of variety for the salad bar(chopped bacon, broccoli, sunflower seeds, etc.) Cons: –We ordered the Margherita Pizza and added pepperoni, but it was pretty meh. –Lettuce in the salad bar wasn’t very fresh Probably the best restaurant around the area if you’re too lazy to drive the extra 30 min back into Zion area, and if you want something else besides fast food!

Decided to give this place a try since it is new to the neighborhood. I got the meatball sandwich and my brother got the the Chicken Parmesan sandwich. We also shared an order of fried mozzarella. The food was ok. Nothing too spectacular but not bad by any stretch of the imagination. I will go back to try the pizza and pastas. They also have a pretty decent looking salad bar.
