This place is eh. Service is eh, food is mediocre. Takes a while to receive your food, so don’t go if you’re in a hurry.

So, once again Unilocal has steered us in the right direction! It was our last day here in North Richland Hills, Texas and we wanted home cooked breakfast without cooking at home! Upon searching Unilocal, and reading a few reviews we finally decided to go with BB&C! To be honest I thought it was going to just«alright». Man was I wrong. I ordered the egg sandwich with bacon, my wife got the healthier options which was egg whites sourdough toast, oatmeal and fruit. My buddy order off their Ten Servings menu and his wife order the French toast, bacon, and egg whites. To our surprise the food was damn good and the waitress Krista is a doll. She was super, SUPER friendly, very fast & courteous. Just like a previous post they HIGHLY recommended Krista, and we do as well. DEFINITELY will be back for sure! Please see the picture of what happens when you get food that’s so good and you forget the take a before picture.

We went to Bacon’s on Memorial day around 1pm, we were immediately sat and the waiter told us that we came at the perfect time because they were swamped all day from 6am– 12:50pm, he said that there was an hour long wait all day! This was our first time to try Bacon’s so I was rather thankful that we went at what seemed the ideal time. We asked the waiter if it is as busy as he said everyday and he told us that week days its pretty dead until around 10am but the weekends are really busy. My husband and I both ordered the biscuits and gravy with bacon. It came out in a sandwich form with eggs and bacon on the biscuit. The biscuit was very good, it was soft, fresh, and an excellent consistency. The bacon was a decent piece that wasn’t burnt and wasn’t under cooked. If your in the area check out Bacons, we will defiantly be going back.

This is one of our go-to breakfast spots and we’re definitely some of the many regulars. We usually try to get there by 7:30 while it’s still somewhat quiet. If you get there after 8:30 on the weekend be prepared for a wait. They do have a waiting area though which includes their coffee bar. So you can buy a tasty coffee while you’re waiting. There’s also a bench outside. They also have a small counter that’s first come first serve. Oh and sometimes they open their patio. The staff here are pretty great. We don’t have a favorite, as there are several servers we really enjoy and I truthfully can’t recall all their names at the moment. My husband always gets the Rooftop(hashbrowns and veg topped w eggs your way + cheese). I rotate between the(egg white) omelet, the rooftop, and the smoked salmon Benedict. I see lots of biscuits and pancakes come out so they must be pretty good too. The menu is fairly standard, but for us it’s about the execution. They do rotate limited serving specials through too. The food and service are consistently good and that’s why we keep coming back. Plus we love that it’s not a chain. We like supporting local businesses.

Visiting from Phoenix, looked up «best breakfast» nearby our location and came across Bacon’s. It did not disappoint. Food was great and our server Krista was a gem!

This place seriously has the best bacon of all time, which is good, because bacon is basically the name of the company. It’s kind of a drive compared to other breakfast places that are closer to my house, but Bacon’s is worth the few extra miles! The staff is great too. I just really love this place and can’t wait to go back! :)

What a lively, cute place. The staff as well as the customers are so friendly. The lime green walls with the big colorful polka dots assault your senses in a compelling way that mixes with the huge mug of coffee to happily help you come alive to start your day. Food was delicious and well seasoned. Perfect size portions so I felt full but not stuffed. I’m sure on the weekend this place will be a madhouse but from what I experienced it’s worth it.

One of the most consistently good breakfast places in the mid-cities! We love this place, but be prepared for a wait on the weekends if you get there after 830(it is worth it). We most always sit in Krista’s section, at first it was by accident but now we ask for her. She remembers us, our daughter and our favorite things! Our drinks never go empty and our food is always just how we ordered it. Bacon’s has a monthly thing called«10 servings;» it is the way they rotate specials on and off of the menu. They quiche on the 10 servings is usually pretty amazing. I like quiche and I think they have the best I’ve had in a long time. It comes with toast and fruit, too. The serving size is generous and I’m usually not able to eat it all. You can order a single Bessie’s Biscuit(Bacon, cheese, egg on a biscuit), too. It’s huge and so good. Hubs is pretty picky about his eggs; he likes them soft scrambled with cheese mixed in. They always get it right.

Looking for a place for Sunday brunch close to the in-laws, we decided to try Bacon’s. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes(pretty typical for Sunday brunch so no big deal) but I think it was a little longer. After seeing how popular this place seemed to be, I thought it would be pretty good but I was slightly disappointed. The staff seemed very sweet but they were slow. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. My husband and I both thought nothing really jumped off the menu at us. It all seemed just ehh. I ended up getting the Bacon’s Benedict — an English muffin topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. It also came with grilled ham but I’m not a big meat person so I had them hold it. Hash browns and fruit were served on the side. The fruit tasted fresh but the English muffin with eggs and hollandaise did not. The hash browns needed more seasoning. The coffee was pretty good though and they were accommodating with substitutions for healthier options. They don’t serve alcohol so no mimosas and you know, «brunch without booze is just a sad, late breakfast.» Kidding. Kind of. The décor was pretty typical of a suburban breakfast place in Texas. Overall, I didn’t see why it was so popular. I’d go back if I just wanted an inexpensive breakfast close to the in-laws but I wouldn’t wait.

One of my favorite local places for great breakfast. The selection is vast, the service is always friendly, which is remarkable considering how busy they are on the weekends. Be prepared to wait if you go on Sunday, but know that’s it’s popular for good reason. I’ve tried several things but the light, fluffy pancakes are the best. Jeez, now I’m hungry.

Fantastic folks, great food, & great energy! They have it all, and they spoil us! Rare in this crazy ‘olé world. Always trying to patronize our local businesses, and this is one of our favorite hangouts.

My girlfriend and I frequent this place often enough to know some of the waitors/waitresses and love the food. Very homey atmosphere, and they cater well to those with gluten-free needs.(Ex: gf-pancakes, toast, etc.) I love The Rooftop(breakfast-mix bowl that actually fills me up) and she loves a country style plate with tasty sausage. It’s our go-to, got-to-have-breakfast-now spot!

Hosted a family reception in their semi-private room(one wall is glass facing into main dining room) and everything was perfect. The room was set up upon arrival of our group of 25. The buffet was lovely and arranged thoughtfully with nice chafing dishes. The owner worked with me ahead of time to set up a brunch buffet menu and she was great about bringing food out in small batches so everything stayed fresh and hot for us to enjoy. We had Bessie’s biscuits and they are delicious breakfast sandwiches, spinach and bacon quiche and sausage and peppers quiche(both great, buttery crust), fresh fruit(great variety), well seasoned hash-browns, and biscuits and gravy(buttery and light biscuits, yum!) Service was attentive and not intrusive. They also helped serve the cake I brought. Everything was well executed from start to finish and the final bill was very reasonable for what we got. Definitely a great local spot to have breakfast/brunch or to host a small reception/shower/party in their second dining room.

I like this place. Just always a very long wait on Sundays, so expect that if you go on a Sunday morning. Other than that, the food is great and it is a great little spot for breakfast or brunch. Or lunch.

I don’t get it. I’ve been here several times with my Dad because he insists Bacon’s is the greatest place to go. I keep hoping maybe«this time» I will like it, but every time– I force myself to eat at least half of what I ordered so I don’t waste my Dads money. What a thoughtful daughter I am, I know! But seriously, I’ve tried a lot of menu items– breakfast and lunch and every moment I leave, I think to myself Whhhhyyyy didn’t I just cook?! It would have been so much better! To be fair, I will say the owners are very sweet/genuine and you can tell they love what they do. They have more seating availability then the other local spots. All in all — I think those two traits are the real reason so many people are regulars. They come for the owners and short wait to be seated.

Eggs Benedict was delicious, and my son got the«rooftop» which is eggs on top of hash browns and vegetables. Good, but not remarkable. Our server was friendly but never brought refills of drinks, even when asked. She did ask if we wanted a refill to go when she dropped off the check, but that kinda misses the point. All in all, it was decent but probably not worth the wait for merely«decent.»

Have been here many times and have always enjoyed the food and experienced prompt and courteous service. You may end up waiting to sit but it’s worth it. The owners will typically get out and interact with the patrons. Always a nice touch.

This place is so awesome! Went with my grandmother yesterday morning and we both agreed it was by far the best breakfast we had ever had! We both got the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Everything was so fresh, the flavors blended so well, and everything was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent as well. Our server Krista was very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back. New favorite brunch spot!

First time here! Everything was delicious! We will come back for sure. We tried the Feature quiche, the rooftop and my girls had the kids pancakes with eggs. I tried the Southern pecan Mocha, love it! Good place for breakfast, big line to get a table but moves fast and it’s worth it.

The food and service are always outstanding. So popular, you may have to wait a few minutes… Never too long and always worth the wait. If you’re lucky, the corn beef hash(not normally available) will be on special.

We went on a Saturday morning around 9 and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. The staff if friendly and quick. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs. It was as good as it looks and very tender. You can tell the menu is made from scratch and made to please. My son ordered the bacon and eggs and this may be the best bacon I have ever tatsed, and I have eaten a lot of bacon in my days! I take my bacon seriously! Give this place a try. I’m going back to try the homemade Sheppards Pie.

Stopped in for breakfast with the family today. Cute family style diner. The staff were all very friendly. They accomodate gluten allergies. 15 minute wait. My only con was that they buttered my GF toast(dairy allergy) and I didn’t ask for a new one, but they were nice and apologized and ordered me a new one, but charged me a dollar for it… kinda weird. Would go back as it was a very friendly, comfortable place to enjoy a meal.

When a restaurant/diner is named«Bacon’s» it’s impossible to go wrong. We stopped in round noon thirty and the place was pretty packed, but a hostess seated us in less then a minute. Our waitress was pretty nice and an overall colorful person with cool marvel superheroes pocket pack for her ticket book. The menu is pretty straight forward for normal diner food, with added Bacon restaurant specialities like their eggs Benedict and the Rooftop. We ordered The rooftop and the eggs Benedict and they were both very delicious. The hollandaise sauce was spot on and my eggs and ham were perfect. The hash browns that came along with it were great. Not too greasy or dry, they were just right and possibly healthy for you. The rooftop is an interesting combination of hash browns mixed in with cheese, and eggs and a biscuit is something that person with a wicked hangover should order because it would really satisfy ones self after a good night out. Lastly the coffee is pretty good so I can’t find anything wrong with this place. Overall I had a really great experience here and I look forward to coming back.

4.5 stars! We had to wait for ~20 mins On a Sunday morning(no problem w/waiting). Staff was nice and everyone seems very efficient. Overall food was pretty good. I got the Rooftop with ham and a pancake. The only thing I would have to say that I wasn’t absolutely thrilled about was the pancake(wish I took the picture of the pancake). The size of the pancake is pretty big. My pancake in the middle was squishy and I felt like it was kind of undercooked. Other than that, the hashbrown mix(from the Rooftop), eggs, and biscuit were good. Im glad this place is doing well and filled w/customers! Ill have to come back to give the pancake a try again(along w/a different dish — maybe quiche!)

4.25 stars. Bacons is a local breakfast place that is traditional and comfortable. An efficient staff serves up all the favorites you’d expect, and the coffee is very good. With so many chain places out there it’s nice to see a place like Bacons succeeding. Skip the corporate joints. Bacons is definitely worth the trip if you’re in the area.

Checkee this place since love breakfast any time. We got here on a Sunday at noon and had to wait 25 min. It is a decent size with a sectioned off room for parties. Here is what we got: 2 egg classic: 2 eggs, 3 slices thick bacon and biscuit, hashbrown: the bacon was thick and flavorful and the biscuit was tender and fluffy 1 blueberry lemon panncake: small and not kinda dry. It did have a lemony taste. But I like my pancake with a chewy bite and fluffy. I prefer«Egg and I» and Cracker Barrel pancakes Kids chocolate chip mickey pancake with bacon and hash brown: the pancake was small and dry. Only had 4 choc chip on top and not in the batter Overall, I enjoyed the biscuit and bacon. But it was not worth the long wait.

Yum yum yum yum yum yum YUM! Came here after running the mayfest run. Had about a 25 minute wait. Worth it! Super duper yummy! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and inhaled it! I had the Bessie biscuits and oh my gosh that was delicious! Fluffy biscuits with cheese, eggs and bacon on it(you can make any way you want) with gravy. I was very happy with my choosing! Just be prepared wait cause this is a very popular spot!
