Good tennis courts. Not my favorite place but solid.

Love this place! I started going here when my daughter was 4 yrs old. Now she at 1st grade and I still take her here for after school art classes. And my 4 yrs old son loves going here too. He had a blast every time he go to his class with Ms Mary. Ms Mary is the best teacher there. She is so good with the kids. And I even hired her to tutor my daughter and help her with her homework.

Has almost everything you can do at a mega gym minus the price. Hurst residents pay $ 50 a year, non residents pay $ 200. Used to be half that price back in the days. I come here mainly for Racquetball and sometimes lift weights. Beats paying $ 30-$ 50 a month at a mega gym. They have tennis courts next to the building. I kiddie pool that’s open in the summer. A nice basketball court, a gymnastics type of setup, a cardio room, upstairs you can walk or jog laps, two rooms with free weights and machine weights and 4 racquetball courts. All in all a nice gym with friendly helpful people that work there.

The Hurst Rec Center is awesome. Plenty of equipment, super inexpensive, friendly and helpful employees. During the day it is a lot of older/elderly folks working out, in the evening it is a younger(20’s — 30’s) crowd. I’ve taken one dance class, which I wasn’t too impressed with. Other than that — you can get a yearly membership for $ 50 if you are a Hurst resident. Not too shabby. See ya on the treadmill.
