Lone Star Inn

My mother stayed here for a week. She chose it because it’s in a central location and has low rates. When the got the room they noticed a strange smell and asked to switcth rooms. The office told here they could no do that. There were crickets all over the room every night and the Office staff is extremely rude. Today I went to visit her to bring her dinner and my small dog was with me. I was in there not even 2 minutes, when one of the office people pounds on the door. «NO PETS ALLOWED» he yells. I politey informed him we were just about to leave and he yelled «NO IT HAS TO LEAVE NOW THIS SECOND» Seriously? A simple I’m sorry mam we do not allow pets on the property would have sufficed. Are the worried about pets messing up the putrid, bug infested rooms? The prices are very low but there are way better options for $ 40 or so a night.
