Outback has long been one of our go to chain restaurants. For $ 11.99 you can get a 6oz sirloin and two non premium sides(those are a small upcharge). It used to be $ 10.99, but that’s still a great deal. They now have ‘enhancements’ you can add to your steak too such as roasted garlic butter, blue cheese crumbles, or even pieces of their fried bloomin onion. I added the roasted garlic butter to mine for $ 1.50 and it was delicious. They put a hefty dollop on there so I was able to add some to my mashed potatoes also to spruce them up a bit. My other side was a garden salad which I had our server bring before the meal so that I wouldn’t fill up on their complimentary honey wheat bread. They serve it warm with a side of whipped butter and it seems to disappear from our table as quickly as they bring it. My husband ordered the sirloin too but the 11oz with a loaded baked potato and house salad with ranch. The salads were okay, but they went way overboard with the balsamic dressing on mine. I need to remember to ask for it on the side next time. If you go during their prime dinner hours, expect a wait. We went at 7pm on a Friday and were quoted 40 minutes. It ended up being closer to 15 – 20 though so it wasn’t terrible. They have plenty of seating in the waiting area along with free chilled water which was a nice touch. Service was awesome and we had at least 3 people thank us on our way out. I’m not someone who eats steak a lot, but when the craving strikes it’s nice to have this close to home to get decent ones for two for a total cost of what you would pay per person at a nicer joint.

Good food but the service at this location is terrible. Waited over 15 minutes at the table before order was taken. When the bill came they charged us for the peoples food next to us because their food was free because of poor service. We were there 2.5 hours not including the 40 minute wait with call ahead seating.

5 stars for: Had the New Volcano Shrimp last night. It was awesome! Steaks were over the top! 3 stars for the rest… Saturday prime time so wait was really long as expected. The device to let us know our table for three was ready apparently malfunctioned since a party of three that came in at least 30 minutes after us was seated. Manager and staff were running around yelling for patrons with tables ready so we knew there was an issue. We then decided to sit out on the porch since the weather turned out nice. We waited and waited as at least two servers ran around us to different tables but never looked our way or asked us if we had been helped. I made my way back up front and asked if the hostess could let the waiter assigned to us know that we were ready. She had to find where we were sitting and then find a waiter willing to serve us or so it seemed. Then Nick came out and our less than stellar experience became great! Thank you Nick for turning a potentially bad experience into a great evening! Cheers!

it’s Outback. good food. good service. faux«down under» décor is underwhelming but servers here are aces. new building has holes in outdoor cushions & layout is tight. hard to believe someone designed it this way on purpose. steaks & chops rule.

We have eaten here many times but today was the best visit so far. Our waitress Casi was awesome. The food came out fast and was perfectly prepared. I will definitely request to be seated in her section the next time we return.

Had dinner with my family this evening. So worth the wait. Our waiter JP was probably the best waiter I’ve ever had. food was amazing, my kiddos ate every last bite of their food. Really impressed.

I brought my wife and kids here. Greatest experience I ever had. Awesome steaks, and the waiter Nick was perfect. Nick was always attentive. Best experience I’ve had.

When I tell you that the service here was absolutely horrible it was very Brandon the server was very rude and horrible and had poor customer service he brought us out a cup full of cinnamon, slammed water down on the table it was the worst and became very argumentative. Never go to this location ever!!!

Matt was AWESOME in to go tonighg! Last minute like someone should never order and showed up like an asshole wanting to modify my order… he laughed with me over why I needed it so late & took great care of me! Will call ahead to get his section next time our date night doesn’t get ruined ;) Thursday night right before close and still had a smile… true service industry people! #Inmate #LifeBehindBars

I sure do love Outback. We came here a few times and had wonderful service each time. Matt was our waiter recently and he was very attentive. He answered any questions and was always there to check on us. Keith makes the best drinks here especially an Old Fashion drink. My hubby wanted to go back the next day just to have a drink. The bread here is just fantastic. Its so warm and soft. I am sad they no longer have the flatbread on the menu as it was really good The Aussie Cob with grilled chicken is great. This salad is huge! The steaks here are good but make sure they cook it to your liking as one time they made the steak rare and we wanted it Medium rare. The Outback mac n cheese is tasty with the bread crumbs. You must have the brownie at the end of your meal. It comes out hot and gooey with some ice cream on top. So good! We are definitely regulars here as we have enjoyed it each time.

For being a newer location, it’s not as clean as one would expect. Whenever I see a dirty floor, tables etc I always wonder if the kitchen is clean. I.E. wipe down the menus… The food is still good but just seems like the care is going down since they opened the new location 2 years ago.

As I mentioned previously, this is our«go to» Outback since it is in our part of the world. We hadn’t been back for a while so it was time for a visit. We were seated after a short 10 minute wait. The hostesses were handling the wait list perfectly making sure everyone was comfortable and also directing them to the bar area if they wished. After being seated, our server greeted us warmingly and reminded us about the restaurant’s specials. Some of them were very tempting. My wife stayed with her favorite steak, the 6 ounce tenderloin. I ordered the 8 ou8nce prime rib with a baked potato and chopped bleu cheese salad. I also ordered an appetizer portion of coconut shrimp. Our«service» was paced perfectly. My wife and I had some time to chat before our salads and my appetizer was delivered. The shrimp were HUGE and hot in temperature. YUMMY! Our entrees were delivered shortly and my wife’s steak and my prime rib were prepared to perfection. Betty, the manager, even stopped by to check on us. Overall our experience was everything we expected it to be!

This new location is pretty cool. I love the roominess of it and the ambience it gives off. The lighting is a little on the dark side, which makes it a little hard to even see your menu at times. On this occasion I ordered the New York Strip steak along with rice and mashed potatoes. I was very happy with my steak and my mashed potatoes. The rice was forgettable. My main complaint was that my mother and brother both ordered one of their specialty steaks, and said«well done» only to receive steaks that were bloody on opposite ends. Being the people they are, they did not say a word and decided to eat it anyway. They had no other complaint though. Our server whose name I believe was Chris was superb and took very good care of us. I will be back.

This review is for my experience tonight. Went here several months back and had a pretty good experience overall. Tonight though was very dissatisfied and quite frankly disappointing. Service was good, Kathy was my waitress. She was knowledgeable of the menu and was polite. She had this thing where she called me «my lady» every time she asked me something. Different.. . I ordered the filet mignon 6oz well done, and as soon as it was placed in front of me I noticed the presentation of the platter was horrible and a total mess. The steak was dry, horribly dry and very tough. The mignon is supposed to be the tender steak, this was FAR from it. Also they use to have fresh green beans as a side, those were a favorite of mine and I was told tonight«per corporate we don’t have those any more as a menu item»…again another bummer :( I topped it off with a thunder from down under dessert and quite frankly the dessert was better than the whole darn meal. Very dissatisfied overall for the prices they charge.

We had a family dinner on a Friday night so we expected the long wait. After an hr or so, we were seated. From then on, it was more waiting. It took 5 minutes before our waitress even came to greet us at our table. After than, another 20 minutes to get our drinks… from being seated to finally getting our food, it took almost an hr! It was very frustrating seeing our waitress bounce from every table, except ours. Food wise, it was ok. Not good, not bad. Nothing that’s like«OMG, I have to eat that again». Hopefully, if we do return, the waitress will be a lot better.

We dined in on a Friday night, even though the wait was going to be an hour. I hovered in the bar area which was open seating, and I scored us a table within ten minutes of our arrival. I’m not a huge fan of chains, but we were happy to use a gift card we’d received. I liked several things: non-smoking bar area,(the smoking allowed in Texas Roadhouses are such a deterrent), my sweet tea stayed refilled, my waitress was great even though she was clearly swamped, my baked potato was awesome. My steak was perfectly cooked – a nice sear and medium rare… I got a six ounce sirloin and I only ate half of it because I was far more thrilled by my wood-fire-grilled shrimp. The steak was tough in parts, as expected with restaurant sirloin.(I don’t like to pay $ 20−−30 for a teeny tenderloin at restaurants, either, because I can get a higher quality piece of meat from Central Market.) Overall this is a safe, clean, decent place to eat, but there are better steaks to be had. Lunch prices are also the best deal.

When we are talking about chain restaurants, it’s easy to get snooty. But I’m not even going to pretend like I don’t love me some Outback. I was super excited to get to come see the new, improved Outback down here and they have definitely played up my favorite parts. They have expanded their bar area, which is where I always wanted to sit anyway. I might be wrong, but I think they don’t allow smoking anymore which is fantastic. They also added a patio to the bar area — something I’ve never seen at an Outback. In all honesty, the dining area looked even less appealing to me than their old set up. It’s even more open and would force you to be even closer to other diners. Good thing I only ever want to hang out at the bar, anyway! They have abandoned the Aussie theme — no more stuffed crocodiles on the wall. They are going for a more upscale look, but also had some casual elements like chalkboard signs. But who really cares about the look, let’s talk about the food. They’ve created a menu of $ 4 items at the bar and they are GOOD. The flatbreads are calling my name with their sweet siren song. They’ve concocted some new drinks, including a margarita that I loved. And I am in no way, shape, or form a margarita drinker. I think their food is consistently delicious and I’ve always had great service. Now there’s the added benefit of new items and a new set up to entice you even further!

Having been a fan of the Outback, I was looking forward to «checking out» the new restaurant concept and some of the new tasty things on the menu. I am a fan of the«new Outback. Outside dining area, great modern lighting, openness of the dining room, but the best improvement is the bar area. It is designed for hanging out and having a drink with a mate and watching a ball game, as well as having a nice lunch and dinner. The service was excellent, and they even have a new $ 4 bar menu for drinks and apps. Take a stroll to the«new» Outback. You won’t be disappointed…
