Atrium Hotel and Conference Center

Customer service was outstanding, and overall, this was a good experience. That being said, you might want to check out Hutch’s elite hotel options (and really, are there any? No) before reserving here. First of all, they gave us a great rate for a high school event. Checkin was painless, and our rooms were early almost two hours early. The hot breakfast was delicious and had everything that makes me happy for breakfast: eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, etc. Linens on the bed were nice except for the grandma polyester bedspreads. Towels were fine. Décor was OK and looks like it has probably been upgraded recently. Everything was clean.
The cons:
everything is damp…I guess when you have essentially three large pools (one of them is a large hot tub) in the center of everything, it’s going to be humid. Several box fans were on in the halls, but everything in the room felt sticky from humidity. Also, the bathroom is tiny and there isn’t room to put your things, not even clothes you want to put on after showering. The toilet and toilet seat/​cover were super old. I had to hold the handle down for the entire flush for the bowl to empty. TMI? Probably, but you might want to know!
The Atrium is still renovating, so an entire section or two is under construction, but it is a huge place. For what it is, it was a great deal, and I would return.

This hotel needs some serious improvements. The whole place felt wet and moldy. The air was so moist that the carpets felt wet, our bed felt wet, and after a day our clean clothes smelled like mold and had the same wet feeling. As I was leaving I noticed that the carpet under the couch was moldy. The food was gross and I probably could have gotten better fast food. I’ll never stay here again and if you are allergic to mold stay away. My son, wife and I all were coughing in that place which stopped shortly after we left.

Hot breakfast, currently being remodeled, soft pillows and beds. Easily the best value in town! Conference rooms, water park, and more!
