I used an app to find this place. I am pregnant and was craving Mexican food. I am not from
Hutchison, so I was trying to rely on this app to give me a decent Mexican food experience. The reviews prior to this one– seemed worthwhile to try it out. I drive over with my husband and mom in tow. First off– the signage wasn’t the best but that’s simply my opinion. I then walk in to a completely Empty restaurant. Not a single customer and there was not an immediate hostess. She was at the bar writing stuff down. I can understand she could see us, but we didn’t even get an apology for not coming sooner – it took her a moment to put away her task and seat us. We got the menu– it was fine. But I am typically greeted with chips and salsa at the table with no additional cost at other Mexican places. This place, charges you for chips and salsa. I just could not believe it. I was craving enchiladas.
My favorite… The prices were outrageous. 9.75 for an enchilada plate. Really? My mom and husband all decide it’s cheaper to just get al a carte. Still $ 2 an enchilada. I could not believe it. We wait and our food is brought out to us. Mind you, no other customers have come in at all to be seated. I saw the food and thought immediately… «What is this?». I was so hungry, I didn’t even put much thought into the presentation… A tortilla with what looked like a poor excuse for red sauce, and shredded cheese that wasn’t even fully melted… I took my bite, and it immediately was spit into my Napkin. It tastes like metal. As in Brillo pad. My family saw me do this as well, and were concerned for my well being as well as my unborn child. They both took a bite just to see if theirs may be different. Same story. I explained to the waitress we can’t eat this, and we are just going to go. It took me quite a while to get that metal taste out of my mouth. I can honestly say, this was the WORST experience in Mexican food dining of my life. I would never recommend a single person to eat here. Beware. Rip off and shoddy food.
If negative stars were allowed, I’d have given that instead.

The house made flour chips with salsa are great and you can’t miss the fried tacos! Fantastic!

Food was good. Service… yikes! I think I was the only person out of a group of 8 that the order was correct. All the errors was frankly stressful and annoying.

This is a very good place to eat. Better than Anchor. But their chips need to be better. Salsa is very good also.
