Crites Custom Pools

This past year marked our 6^th year enjoying our pool and we continue to be thrilled that we chose Crites to build our dream pool. The quality and service they have delivered has been an exceptional experience. When we began this process we interviewed a number of local pool companies and found ourselves most comfortable with Crites. Throughout the process we knew what to expect and they were extremely flexible and accommodating. The service after the sale has also been outstanding. Over the past six years (and even as recent as today) the Crites team has answered my phone calls and always answered any questions that we have. Even when they truly had no obligation to help Donna and her team have been there for us giving us advice or coming out personally to address any concerns. We absolutely LOVE our pool but more importantly we love Donna and her team for always being here! I’m happy to personally speak with anyone about my experience! I cannot count how many times I have heard from our guests how beautiful our «resort» is!

I can’t say enough great things about Crites Custom Pools! Donna is fantastic to work with, the work is ALWAYS quality, and they have such creative ideas. Our backyard is such a place of rest now because of all Donna’s efforts. They are very reasonably price and will work with any situation you and timeline you have. Crites put in our original pool 3 years ago and we’ve had them do additional yard and pool work every year since. We love Donna and her crew!

We built our swimming pool during the spring of 2011. We reviewed at least 6 different companies over the course of 2 – 3 years and right before we decided on Crites we surveyed the few that were on the top of our list. From the first time I spoke with Donna and with Mike our sales person, I felt like it was our decision on the design and how much we were willing to spend. I did not get that feeling from several of the other companies that really pushed specific packages and amenities. We chose Crites based on our initial interviews with them and because Mike took the time to explain the entire process from start to finish. He did not sugar coat any of the process and let us know about the subs and potential delays due to weather and over booking. I believe they use some of the best subs in Austin. If you want quality work, you may have to wait a little longer for it and weather is always a factor with construction. We went with the Pool and Spa combo and we use the spa year-​round. Donna definitely has an eye for design and she made some tweaks as construction began to enhance our layout. She went over all of the details with us before she made the changes, but I believe it made a big difference on esthetics of the layout in our backyard.
Not everything went perfect. However, Donna and Mike handled all of our concerns professionally and quickly. We had a weather delay along the way and subs that appeared to be overbooked. In the end though, Crites delivered a beautiful product. Donna has been a resource from day one and has helped us with numerous questions and warranty items with our Hayward equipment. We bought the filter, pump and heater from Hayward and the three warranty has been beneficial. Hayward had to replace our filter motor and it was covered under warranty 100%.
I would definitely recommend Crites for your swimming pool construction. They are professional and stand behind their product 110%.

well… since Crites finished our pool, the blower on the hot tub has broken 3 times and repaired 3 times. It broke again 3 weeks ago, my wife and I have contacted donna crites 3 times and we are still waiting after 3 weeks to have our hot tub repaired. Our pool is only 4 months old and the hot tub has only been used 5 or 6 times at most. Having Crites build our pool was a big mistake.
I noticed the comment from D Crites the owner stating the problems I’ve been having were operator error. I think that is an interesting comment since the last time she was here to fix the problem she could not get it to work and had to drain the spa and spa lines to get it working. that is not an operator error if you have to do that. After Crites made that repair, it broke again and the blower just dies on its own after a while without touching any buttons. That is hardly an operator error. It would be nice to have this problem fixed once and for all.
