Fun atmosphere with plenty of seating. Knowledgeable baristas who happily remade our drinks, even though the mistake was ours. They serve almond milk which is hard to find and greatly appreciated! Will surely be back when driving between Des Moines and Ames; a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. We love supporting locally owned shops.

Solid Rock has a delicious array of beverages and snacks, a great atmosphere, plenty of seating if you’re looking for good conversation with friends, and most importantly, fantastic coffee. A great locally owned business bringing the community together. If I lived closer I would absolutely be a regular.

Stopped by for a hot chocolate and coffee. Nice little place for Huxley. Tables to sit out talk, a couch in the corner to chill. Nice addition to Huxley.
