While the ‘tour’ is just standing in their one main room(warehouse) and listening to one of the employees talk about the business, she was funny, engaging, and encouraged us to drink samples while we listened. Each tasting is $ 1 but they’re not small and a full size beer is only $ 5. They also have benches with board games and corn hole boards outside if you want to hang out and drink. This was a really fun place to visit!

We paid them a visit during the small farmer’s market that Cape Cod Beef has every Friday 3pm — 6pm. There was a food truck, live music and the opportunity to sample 5 tastes of beer(good sized samples!) for $ 5. We didn’t care for the beer, but it was a nice way to while away an afternoon.

We missed the tour yet met a lot of fun people at the tasting room event. Very Good not a traditional microbrewery.

Great local brewery located in Hyannis. Visited on a Saturday afternoon for a beer tasting. These are done in the production area, which is set up like other breweries I’ve been too; tables, games(corn hole, etc.), and of course, various beers. CCB gives you five tokens to use for five pours, along with a souvenir glass(3.5 ounces), for $ 5. They had a nice selection of beers on tap including their signature Cape Cod Red, an America amber ale. My wife, more of a wine aficianado than a beer drinker, liked their Hefe-Weizen, which is CCB’s summer seasonal. This unfiltered wheat ale went down nicely, with a somewhat spicy hint. The staff here are extraordinarily friendly and the brewery also has an attached gift shop for CCB swag, and an outdoor seating area, also. When visiting the Mid-Cape area, I’d highly recommend a visit and brewery tour. Check the website or call ahead for times.

3 stars for the beer, 4 stars for the overall experience, 3.5 stars overall. We tried out the beer tasting which was $ 5 to try out 5 beers, at about 3.5 oz pours. Was with some friends so I ended up trying all 8 they had available that day. The Summer Ale was great, as was their Porter, though the rest of the offerings were good but not necessarily all too memorable. The place itself though was just an overall fun time. You got 5 tokens to trade in for your beers, and in the meantime you could roam around the brewery, playing cornhole, tiki toss, or any of the other various games they had set up around the area. All the people were chill and overall it’s just a fun place to spend the day. Plus you get a complimentary glass with your tasting, so for $ 5 it’s definitely a good place to spend the afternoon and kill a few hours.
