Toys R Us

I’m so mad at Babies R US! I have been a great customer since I became pregnant and time and again I feel like I am being taken advantage of with the shady scheming of this corporation. I have to say I love the sales on clothes from the clearance racks but I am going on strike, no more babies R Us for me unless it is for a super super sale item.
This store is rude. I had an exchange on a case of diapers and the woman who worked with me was not very polite. They also don’t honor their SO CALLED deals! I had purchased diapers during a sale but as we know infants grow like crazy and my little one outgrew her size 1 diapers so I needed to exchange for the size 2 case. These are the exact same price and from the same diaper company. They did not let me exchange and I lost my $ 10 savings. They returned the item and made me purchase a new box. Babies R US is not close by so after driving ½ hour to get there I was very disgruntled.
Another deal over Xmas was to purchase 2 cases of diapers and a case of baby wipes at full price for a $ 25 gift card. I thought why not? Well AFTER purchasing they do not let you use the gift card for 6 hours. Why would they do this? To screw people over! On top of that they put an expiration date on the gift card. I understand doing this but for a 6 week period. Very shady indeed. I did not realize that the card expired so I lost that $ 25 off as well. Customer service refused to help after seeing the card had expired one day late. I’m done! We also received a $ 300 gift card towards a stroller from my SO’s work. The stroller is $ 100 more here than from Amazon. Also if you join prime memberships on amazon for mommy you can order cases of diapers for 20% off when you subscribe and receive your orders at your front door. BOYCOTT Babies r us for these items and check elsewhere before losing money while they use their shifty ways to rip off good consumers!

I feel a little stupid writing a review about toys R us. let’s face it, I really just want a badge and I’m not going to write a review about the gas station or grocery store. at least I’m being honest!
anyway, I actually really do love toys R us, they can be a one stop toddler shop for me if I need it (although I do prefer to buy my diapers/​food at the grocery store, the option is there!) every time I’ve had to deal with the staff they’ve always been cheerful (I imagine it can be tough) and willing to help locate what I need. plus, I really just like wandering around picking out stuff to play with with my kid, and they have awesome sales like «buy 1 get 2 free» on crayons, which are now a big hit in my house.
