My family was approaching the doors & windows of Carlo when one of yhe barbers went to lock the door, then when I was showing my son the Christmas decorations in yhe window they closed the blinds to the window. When we went over to cluck u chicken then left they had reopened the window for us to see this. Not cool!

I recently moved to Northeast DC and was looking for a good, reasonably priced barber nearby. I stumbled upon Carlos’ shop this weekend and was immediately impressed. His shop is pristine and the walls are covered with comic book posters and humorous plaques. Carlos is friendly and really knows how to cut hair. I’m very pleased and will definitely be back!

I highly, highly recommend Carlos’ Barber Shop. I think he’s open from 9:30−6 M-S. It’s a new small business in town I wanted to try so my husband went and got a great haircut for just $ 13 and then I brought my son for his first haircut, which I was nervous about, and Carlos did an amazing job. He really works hard and is very skilled and patient with a variety of different hair styles. The place is clean and bright (real plants, checkerboard floors, purple walls, vintage barber stools, modern music) and there is plenty of free parking. We found our neighborhood barber!
