KT Sushi

I cannot even take this place seriously. The staff is super friendly and that’s cool but there are things that can’t be overlooked in my opinion. First off, the prices are CRAYYYZZZAAAYY.
$ 3.99 for a small miso soup?
$ 6.09 for a spicy tuna roll?
$ 5.39 for shumai?
$ 9.00 for a hawaii roll? NINE DOLLARS? Holy Blackbeard’s Delight!
Second, the hours are totally weird and sparatic to say the least. Open one day, closed the next. They’re never open after 6PM. I drive by this place almost every day and it’s quite rare to see them open, if at all.
Third, if you’re all about sitting at the sushi bar watching the magic happen (we sushi lovers are all about that), that won’t happen here. The way the restaurant is set up, you CAN’T watch the sushi being made. Maybe, I’m a bit sensitive about it but ordering sushi from a place where you have no way of seeing it being made sits weird with me.
KT has been around for a few years but it’s just an unusual situation all around.
