Excellent food, good choice of items on the menu so pretty. much something for everyone. Good portions. Killer burgers. Fresh salads. Good coffee and atmosphere. Clean place. We try eat there once a month!

Good service and surprisingly good breakfast from what you’d except a greasy spoon diner to have! Kept healthy with a veggie scramble and it was relish!

We found this little diner quite by accident because it was near our hotel. I am so glad we did! The food was plentiful, the portions were huge, and the staff was extremely friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. Chalking this one up as a great find!

I love this place! Very friendly, attentive service, great French dips and the best milkshakes in town. However to switch things up, my parents and I went to breakfast here, instead of our usual lunch or dinner. It was PHENOMENAL. The breakfast portions are large, but not uncomfortably. The menu was full of things that you could see a mom in the 60’s setting out for her kids in the morning. Hearty omelettes, flavorful burritos and classic American breakfast items like (giant) pancakes, plates full of meat and eggs. I personally had the eggs Benedict, which was cooked to perfection, accompanied with a generous portion of very fresh tasting hash browns. My only complaint (which isn’t even a complaint at all) is that the ham was so sweet and tender, it tasted a little out of place with a buttered English muffin and eggs, which were both perfectly salted. But it was delicious all the same and I will be recommending these guys over the Idaho Falls’ favorite Smitty’s. Which is saying something. Happy Eating!

Please watch the butter on your plate. I got a used butter. It was half melted and cheese in it. Please watch this waitresses. I
will return again because I do love the food and the atmosphere, however I will keep an eye on my food.

Great friendly staff! Come here several days in a row while working in town, and the waitress already knows what we want when walking in.
Lots of variety on the menu, so I haven’t found a favorite… Besides the coffee.

I was not as impressed as other reviewers led me to believe. Not much better than a Denny’s.

This is the 3^rd time I’ve visited and it never disapoints. A fun 50’s vibe with jute boxes at every booth and very good yraditional diner food.
This time we started with a chocolate malt. It was thick and smooth and big enough for the 4 of us yo share. I’m not a malt lover but this one could change my tune.
The girls ordered of off the kids menu which has the standard offerings. Youngest got the nuggets. They were shaped like animals which she loved and came with fries. Oldest got spaghetti without sauce. It was a bit sticky but that is to be expected with no sauce. Both meals were a good size and enjoyed by both girls.
Husbad got the ruben. It was massive! I didn’t try it but he said it was really giid and just the way a ruben should be.
I get a hamburger every time. They are big and come with french fries that are phenomenal. Kind of McDonalds like but better. This time I got the Southwestern Burger. The flavor was good and it was cooked just slightly over medium which is what I asked for. However this time it fell apart from the start and was so messy by the end that I was frustrated, put it down and filled up on fries.
The bathrooms need a sink update but it was clean and stocked.
You could say we are regulars because we come every time we are in Idaho Falls. Love it!

Okay. I’m a lover of breakfast foods, this place highly exceeded any expectations I had. I got the very berry waffle combo and added whipped cream to the waffle and OH MY GOSH. Soooo good! Probably the best waffle I’ve ever had! And the service was great! Everyone at my table enjoyed their food as well! You can tell they make everything from scratch, and everything is delicious! I will be coming here again!

My wife and I went here after a movie because it was close and I had been here a couple of times before. We did not enjoy it at all. First of all it was late and there were not many people there, but they seated us next to the kitchen door. People going in and out all the time, most with tattoos and gauges in their ears. I have had burgers here before and thought they were good, but we did not feel like a burger. They had a special on «New York Strip Steak» so we ordered that. It was not NY Strip Steak, probably chuck, very bland. My wife specifically asked if the mashed potatoes were real, the waitress said they were. They were not. Instant with bits of real red potato in them. She probably thought I could not tell. I can. The veggies tasted freezer burnt. I did not enjoy the experience at all.
Maybe if you order a burger and they seat you in a decent place it would be ok.

Good food for a great price! Love the look of the place and the ground pound steak is a must when you come here.

Great place, really neat ambience and good food. We were seated immediately and our waitress really took great care of us. The food arrived in a timely manner and was very good. I especially like
the smoky tasting bacon they serve. If you are going through I d recommend a stop here.

Passing through from out of town and saw the reviews. My son was wanting a milkshake so I figured a diner would be our best bet. The place was cute 50’s style. The service was very friendly. And the food was great! It was a little off the beaten path for us but well worth the trip! :)

Love Dixie’s!!! Probably the best omelets in town! Service is great, clean and fun atmosphere.

We love this place ! Everything is good here breakfast food and dinner food ! I often drag people over even when they have free breakfast at the holiday inn next door.
Breakfast served all day

Pleasant surprise. Tried it because of close proximity to our hotel. Wanted something close after long day on the road.
Perfect for a quick bite. Cobb salad was made with freshly grilled chicken and my wife liked chicken soup and tuna sandwich.

Wife and I took off from our hotel and started walking towards Sizzlers when we found this Gem. We decided to enter and immediately saw that there was a rib special. I have been craving BBQ all trip and finally I was going to get it. I looked at the menu and that’s when the personal issues started. They had chicken fried steak and also a great looking meat loaf, but I stuck with the ribs.
Our waitress was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. The place seemed to be stocked with young-​ens and they all were very good at what they did. No grouches from what we could see.
Wife and I both ordered the ½ slab of ribs. They were meaty and had lots of fall off the bone goodness. My problem with them was that they appeared to be baked. This was not the type of BBQ I was expecting, but I should have expected it. The fries were really good and so was the cole slaw. The cole slaw though was about 2 table spoons in a bowl that could have fit three times as much. Perhaps they were running out since we were so late and it did taste home made.
The food was not that bad but it wasn’t off the wall damn good either. Service was nice and atmosphere was cute. If I see another Dixie’s diner on the road I will stop by and try some of the other things.

POSITIVES: The staff is nice and constantly bring us water and check up on us. The food is pretty good, but not the best. Prices are similar to Red Robin, but not as much food is given. I really like the atmosphere though.
NEGATIVES: average dining food for average price. Nothing spectacular.
PRICE: $ 8 – 11 per person.

This place was much better when it was the 5 and Diner. The food is still good, but not as good as it once was. I still go back and eat there once in a while because the place is fun and I do like their home made chips. I love the little juke boxes that they have at some of the tables. If you have kids, bring quarters because they are gonna want to have fun with that. I took my daughter there for dinner tonight and ordered a Aloha Pineapple Burger, I think it was. It was just an OK burger. I couldn’t really taste the Teriyaki that it claimed to have on it and the bun was way too big and a little cold. But the service is exceptional. Cassie, our server was very friendly. My daughter managed to scratch her hand just a little bit and when she asked for a band aid they were right on it. One thing I have not tried yet is their breakfast. I will update this as soon as i do.

Great prices, yummy breakfast! They have a pretty large menu and of course the typical diner fare.
I had half a waffle, egg, 2 slices of bacon. My only qualm was the bacon was really salty.
Cute diner atmosphere and friendly staff!
The façade of the diner looks very similar to a diner chain back home in Phoenix!
