We went to Lucy’s last night with our granddaughter, at her recommendation that it was the best place for pizza in Idaho Falls. The food was good, but the service was very bad. It was disorganized and slow. We waited for even water for about 20 minutes before we flagged down a wait person and asked to be waited on. Two times, they tried to deliver someone else’s order to our table and the one next to us. They didn’t get our order right; they left off one of the ingredients, but it took so long to get it that we just ate it as is. They didn’t deliver our appetizer until after we got the pizza — at this point, we’d been there about 45 minutes — and then only because we asked where it was. Even our granddaughter — on whose recommendation we came — said she didn’t think we should come back. Overall, it looked like they could use some adult supervision for the group of kids on duty.

One of the crazier restaurant visits I’ve had in awhile. 2.5 stars. The customer service was all over the place and the pizza was all right but definitely nothing special. First, upon trying to use the men’s room I see a big«closed» sign taped to the door. Ok. Single serve bathrooms, so I’ll check the ladies room. Also a «closed» sign. After 3 hours in the car I needed to pee. After inquiring, our server talked to «the boss» and I’m allowed to use the ladies room. Fair enough. By the time the pizza comes, some plumbing contractor has shown up to fix the toilets. This occurs roughly 8 feet from our table. He rolls in a gigantic toilet snake machine, which revs up in a deafening roar. Then the metal snake penetrates hundreds of feet into the bowels of their plumbing system, and begins it’s work in earnest. For a full 15 minutes we dined to the sound of a toilet snake thrashing around the sewer pipe, emitting noise like a spastic concrete mixer stuffed full of glass, cinder brick and a few buckets of engine parts. We had to shout to be heard just across the table, but by then we were a couple beers in so just decided to deal with it. On the way out, «the boss» says: «sorry about that guys.» Uh. Which part? My having to ask for a place to take a piss? Or maybe the 15 minute long ear-rape of your plumber going to town on miles of ancient poo? ANYWAY… 2.5 stars. Honestly, the pizza wasn’t awful and they’ve got a real laid-back vibe as you can tell. I would probably wager them another shot if in the area again.

I’ve eaten here many times. I love the quality of food they have. Reasonable prices and great service. And to top it off… they Proudly Serve Pepsi! All items combined will help me give this a 5 star all day long. If you haven’t tried Lucy’s I strongly recommend checking them out.

They always do a good job on their Pizza and Sandwiches. The crew including the delivery persons are top notch. You get alot of food for a reasonable price. Be prepared they are generally busy.

Called ahead and was told«open till 11». Got there at 8 and found them preparing to close early. When we ordered, we asked if we could have some complimentary olives and pickles, but was told they were put away for the night. The pizza was great, but service was bad. Asked for a slice to go and was told they would have to make a new pizza just to fulfill our order, so we had to wait. For how much I enjoy the pizza, not sure I will be back because of the service.

Being from New Jersey, I am(annoyingly?) particular about my pizza, specifically NY style. Thin, crunchy, browned crust; generous, sweet tomato sauce; thin, mild, not-to-stringy, browned cheese. This pizza has all of that. We asked for ours«well done», so it would come out browned, which it did. This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, in line with stuff from Italy and New York City. Add in good local beer on tap, great fast service, good family atmosphere, and large tasty house salads and dressings; now you have Lucy’s. Our waitress was very friendly and kept a constant eye on our table even though she had a few other tables to help. She brought drinks and refills quickly; and although I surprised her with my request for garlic powder, she found some and brought it immediately(maybe not a normal request here). She brought the check without asking which is always appreciated.

One of the best pizzas I have tasted. However– horrible, horrible service. Our waiter seemed to be high on drugs. He forgot multiple things from our order, he dropped a platter of glass cups with our drinks in them, got things wrong in things we did receive, and two of the children in our group didn’t get their pizzas for 40 minutes, and it was 25 minutes after everyone else got their food. It was good food– but one of the worst service experiences in Idaho Falls.

Great pizza! Definitely a gem. Service is attentive without being overwhelming. Recommended. We stopped in for a late lunch(3pm). There were two occupied tables but otherwise the place was ours. We ordered house salads and a gluten-free supreme pizza. I wasn’t sure what to expect. The salads came out and were simple house salads with a couple of large slices of pepperoni on top. Dressing was on the side. Not much to say here. The lettuce was fresh and not wilted. It was a good salad. The pizza arrived without fanfare but was crisp and hot. Plates were not offered so we just ate straight from the pan — no issues — just ask for plates if you want them. The pizza had a good balance of toppings, cheese, and sauce. The sauce was better than most places(4 out of 5).

Recently moved into the area and we have made it a point to try the local spots. Couldn’t have done better than try Lucy’s. With dry erase pizza boards for the kids to color on, daily specials, free refills, friendly staff, reasonable prices and of course delicious pizza, our first visit was great and we left satisfied and not like the victims of a back alley robbery. Filled up our family of five for under $ 20. Will definitely be back.

Visiting Idaho Falls from the Boise area and liked the reviews here for Lucy’s. Well, we were not disappointed, the food and the staff were excellent. The red sauce on the mozzarella brick had good flavor, not acidic or overly sweet. You could taste the hints of oregano and bay leaves. We got the Supreme pizza with their white sauce, which was awesome and had richness and depth. Wish I could find a comparably great white sauce in Boise. Upgraded the crust to «Bronx style» for 2 bucks more and it was thick, but not deep dish. Great for dipping the crust ends in their tangy ranch dressing. Clean dining area and restrooms. Server was attentive and refilled our drinks three times. The guy making pizzas behind the counter thanked us and wished us well on our way out. On the wall was a copy of their 2014 Best Pizza award from Idaho Falls reviewers and they deserve it! Will definitely come back next time we drive through. Only wish we had ordered the next size up to have leftovers!

My husband loves pizza. I, on the other hand, am not as much of a fan. After driving all day(headed home to Tucson from seeing family in Spokane) he had one request, and that was to order from a local pizza joint and watch TV in bed at our hotel. This was doable. I had been studying the menu on and off for hours and knew what sounded good. We went with the 15″ «meaty» and the fried mozzarella. The pizza was very good, and I’m not crazy about NY pizza. The cheese was fried and breaded in a giant chunk, but dang… it was tasty! Marinara was yummy too.(I wish we had gotten more cheese. I could have eaten about four other Deep Fried & Breaded Cheese Chunks with no regrets. At least until the massive coronary set in, that is.) We need a Lucy’s Pizzeria in Tucson. You’d have at least two loyal customers in the Old Pueblo. :)

We had the fried mozzarella brick smothered in marinara sauce to start and a pie for dinner. All of the food was really good. The service was a little off to start, but ended well enough.

Calzone was very tasty with a great herby buttery dough. I enjoyed my simple pepperoni calzone very much. My fiancée was impressed with the meatball sub, he also liked the pickled peppers that accompanied his food, very tasty. A high light for us was that they had wifi. After being on the road, we were in desperate need of somewhere to regroup with internet service that didn’t cut out after we hit a patch of farm/uninhabited land. Both of our items came to like $ 13 bucks. That is so not happening in the Bay Area, CA. color us impressed.

Being from NJ and accustomed to thin pizza with a chewy crust, the Margarita pizza with olive oil and garlic was as authentic and delicious as we ever could have expected in the mountain west. It was a pleasure to find an Italian pizza here. If there were 10 stars this pizza would have earned them!

WOW, is the best way to start this review of this AWESOMENESS. I received a few suggestions on a good place to order and have delivered pizza, I’m so glad I spoke to the locals. This was wonderful, full of flavor and a must do when in Idaho. I am traveling across the country in my Motorhome and the RV Park suggested this place, so glad I took their suggestion

If you don’t like thin crust and NY style pizza then don’t eat here. Nice staff. Good atmosphere for a pizza place. Love the meatball for appetizer. Really good salads. Their gluten free crust is even pretty good. Only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is the consistency is service varies. GREAT pizza.

First, let me start by saying that as a born and raised NY’er(not that that is an absolute certificate of expertise, but) this is our favorite pizza in Idaho Falls. The plain cheese pie is a trip back to Queens! Love it. Ate here Thursday evening. Pizza was excellent. Waitress was on top of the refills, etc. Only complaint was that at 8PM, half of the chairs in the restaurant were already stacked for clean up. Gave the impression that they were closing soon, even though it’s open to 10PM. Did not contribute to a relaxed atmosphere at all. The place isn’t that big, where stacking of chairs couldn’t wait until about 9:30 or so, could it? Otherwise, keep up the good work!

So Good! This is our #1 place to take visiting friends and family to have some high caliber pizza and a chill atmosphere. Our favorites are the CCB(creamy ranch, chicken, and bacon) and the Margarita(w/the olive oil & garlic sauce) Pizzas. Their thin crust is excellent and the sauces and toppings are sure to please no matter what you order. My office often orders their pizzas for lunch and the large slices are real crowd pleasers. Also great with kids– saw the waitress bring over a pizza paddle and markers for some little ones at the table next to ours last night.
