It’s convenient when I’m coming up from the DC area and sometimes I stop by but I swear the people are so terribly unfriendly. I know I look a little rough after a long day of being up since 3AM but there’s no greeting, they don’t even look at me; today they didn’t even offer to put my purchases in a bag. would it be different if I were buying a $ 100 bottle of wine? I just always get the impression that the people there absolutely hate their jobs or that the business is a cover or something for something else! I do like that it’s clean and there’s a variety. But after today I think I won’t be back.

These guy’s are great! Nicest people, great selection and fantastic prices. What more could you ask for? Love it!

We LOVE Franklin Liquors! The selection is excellent, but, if on the rare occasion you can’t find a specific product, they will get it for you. Their service is fabulous… plus, they’re very involved with the local communities.

Good selection, good pricing, friendly and helpful staff. Just want you want in a store. They will continue to receive my business.

This place is fantastic! It is our favorite place to buy beer. They have an excellent selection and have special-ordered for us on numerous occasions. They also have a wide selection of wine and liquor. The people are friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The store also has a «rewards» program similar to grocery stores where you can earn points toward $ off in the future. Though it is close to home, I’ll go out of my way to give them my business.

Very good beer selection but the prices are way too high. Better off at Mt. Airy Liquors if you’re able to run out there. Same beer selection at much better prices.

Really good store for craft beer just outside of Urbana. Their selection of beer is almost(but not quite) as good as the selection at Ye Olde Spirit Shop on 7th street, but I always find a few surprises here, most likely because I don’t think they get quite as picked over. The prices, as noted elsewhere, are very competitive, and the staff is really nice. They have a frequent buy club too! They seem to have a large wine/liquor selection too, but I can’t comment on that, really. One word of warning: the parking lot is on a steep hill so be careful pulling in and out.

Great Store. Perfect location. Easy in easy out. Well lit, clean and most organized store that I have ever seen in my life! Amazing collection of craft beers which grows every week I visit them; Most easy shopping for wine, since its laid out perfectly by wine variety and price points; their value section serves the need of many new wine drinkers or starters. Spirits are also laid out perfectly. Spacious. I love shopping here. Whenever I am off work early, I stop by here to see what has came new in the store. This store is always busy but still the staff is always helpful. I religiously go to Friday’s tastings; that’s mostly for wine, but lately they have added spirit tasting as well. I have collected several thousand points as I am a loyal customer for years. MUSTVISITSTORE.

Franklin’s is the place to go to get your beer/wine/liquor, first and foremost because their prices beat competitors! There is a liquor store closer to my house but I go to Frankln’s instead because I get a better value. The staff is very helpful as well!

I feel sorry for Marylanders ’cause they can’t buy beer in grocery stores. I mean there’s a lot of really stupid laws here in Virginia, but at least we can get our drink on AND buy stuff to make sammiches at the same place. I digress… We stopped by Franklin on our way through the area to pick up a few things. I don’t know anything about the area, but it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere, and yet their beer selection rivals some of the better shops I’ve been to. If I had to guess, they had at least 200 different types of beer, including many of the harder to find microbrews. Not only that, but the shop keeper was friendly without being creepy. Quite a feat for any establishment that only sells booze. I really was impressed all the way around.
