The carne asada tacos are the best! We thought we would be adventurous and try it out even though it was extremely smokey the first time we popped in for a bite. Had the same carne asada tacos again and they definitely do not disappoint. Authenti. Delicious. Inexpensive.

Atmosphere? Not much but the food is the best in Mexican in a 20 mile radius. It ls authentic and even better affordable. Come sit at the bar and watch them make your food right in front of you. No frills but none needed when the food is that good.

It’s amazing to be able to get good tacos like this in the middle of a mostly rural chunk of Mi. Everything I tried was excellent with the chorizo being especially good and the tripe fried extra crispy which is the way I like it. Cheap too. 6 tacos plus a Jarritos for $ 11.xx It’s a spartan but actually spacious interior with 5 – 6 tables and a very long counter with stools to sit on. There is kinda an old timey general store vibe to the place due to the old building in an old downtown of a small city location. I like it! Now for a little bad. As I was walking up I thought the windows were fogged over. Turns out it wasn’t the windows the entire inside was filled with smoke from the grill lol. People were sitting there just chillin’ and eating so I was just went with it. But it really was a bit hard to breathe and after eating my delicious tacos my clothes smelled like smokey grease for the rest of the day. Mi amigos… you gotta get the hood fan for the grill working lol. Hopefully that is a temporary thing. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. I’ll be back for sure even if the smoke fest stays a thing.

Their tacos are cheaper than Taco Bell and a hell of a lot better and more authentic. I highly recommend going here.

Authentic Taqueria. This is a VERY spartan storefront(you’re not taking a first date here, unless she’s up for adventure) — grocery with a bar /barstools where you can get the best Tacos from here to(Detroit’s) «Mexican Town». That’s it — TACOS. Grab a Mexican Coke or Jarritos from the cooler, sit at the bar and order TACOS(they also have burritos, and sometimes Menudo… but the tacos are it’s calling card). Asada and Chorizo are my favorites. The red and green sauces are out of this world AMAZING. Seems to change owners every couple of years, and their English is always rudimentary, but serviceable(much better than my Spanish!).
